The Neckertal is a romantic, dreamy valley with many hiking and biking opportunities and is located between the two tourist destinations Appenzellerland and Toggenburg.

The connection to public transport is very good, so that especially the cities of Zurich, Zug and Lucerne can be reached quickly. In this area you can enjoy the tranquillity, as a leisure activity there are many places of interest and sports facilities, such as hiking in the mountains of Amden or on the Speer - King of the Pre-Alps. If the weather is fine, you can enjoy a fantastic view of Lake Constance.

Your exclusive getaway with 360-degree views of Säntis/Lake Constance and yet so close to attractions such as St.Gallen/Appenzell. This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

Spacious, family-friendly house (200 m²) on the Walenstadtberg with a fantastic view of the Swiss mountains and the valley. The entire house is exclusively available to our guests. Eight individually designed bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen with a dining area, a cosy lounge, a terrace, a private fitness room and a sauna ensure a relaxing stay. Ideal for families, groups and friends. Booking for at least three paying persons.

Experience and inhabit paradise

Charming gazebo with double bed (sofa bed) and bathroom. To heat the cottage, light the fireplace, and cozy warmth is guaranteed! In summer, a dormitory is also available in the barn, e.g. for families. A kitchen is available, about 20 m from the cottage. On request, we provide breakfast for an extra charge of CHF 13 per person, which must be paid in advance as we have unfortunately had bad experiences.
