The lovingly designed showman's caravan with a wood-burning stove is located on a listed artists' courtyard (built in 1805). In the warmer months, the Wilde Werk – a creative meeting place with a kitchen, studio and plenty of space to linger – invites you to enjoy, work or be creative. Whether you want to slow down or go hiking in the nearby Geo-Naturpark, both are possible here.

Der rote Bauwagen am Dorfrand bietet Behaglichkeit für deine Auszeit. Zeit zum Runterzukommen und um das einfache Leben in der Natur zu genießen. Schöne Wanderwege laden zum Entdecken ein. Hügel, Seen oder Wälder - du wählst. Der Bauwagen hält alles für eine entspannte Atmosphäre bereit: Waschtisch, Herdplatte, Kühlschrank. Im Doppelbett 1,40 cm oder auf dem gemütlichen Sofa kannst du dich erholen. Im Winter duschst du in unserer separaten Ferienwohnung warm. Der Holzofen hält dich warm.

Holidays in the countryside

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

Ferienhaus "Ahle Schinn" Relax on the Werra

Our cottage is a half-timbered house in "Klein Venice", the old fisherman's houses in front of the city wall and is limited by the Werra, the Werrabrücke and the old city wall. In the 1990s it has been lovingly renovated and has been modernized since then. Families with children are welcome! Cots for toddlers and high chairs are included at no extra charge. The ground floor is used by a café with beer garden, from which you can also be taken care of on request.

Hello, we rent a room with bathroom in the upper floor apartment of our house for couples, friends or also 3 persons. The room has a sofa bed that can be folded out into a double bed and a single bed. Parking in the yard is allowed. Smoking is also allowed in the yard. The bathroom can be fully used. The location is close to the forest and the Eschweger city center can be reached within 5 minutes by car. A bus stop is 2 minutes from the house.

The annex was completely expanded in 2019. It has become a real gem and we are pleased to offer this modern guest apartment in a prime location. In the immediate vicinity is the swimming lake at the leisure center, but Lake Werra is also just a short walk away. On the way there is an EDEKA supermarket. And the city center of Eschwege can also be reached in 25 minutes on foot. Around Grebendorf there are a number of hiking and cycling trails.
