The Gambo

The Gambo is a traditional Shepherd's Hut with all the modern comforts you need for a relaxing break. It has a king-size bed, a fitted kitchen, full size fridge, wood-burning stove and bathroom. There is a 2-seater snuggler settee to relax and enjoy the spectacular view of the countryside and nearby coastline. Outside is a firepit, table, chairs and a Jacuzzi hot tub. Blackthorn Hut is named after the native hedgerow tree which borders the majority of the farm fields. The hut itself is built in timber so it is part of the surroundings. It is the perfect spot to relax, unwind and take in the spectacular views. A solar panel provides your electricity to the bedroom hut. The bathroom is separate to the hut.

Sitting above the Taf Estuary, Holt Cottage provides a perfect location to enjoy the peace and tranquility of an unspoilt part of Wales. Situated on the Welsh Coastal Path, we provide a base from which to explore the glorious Welsh coastline. A haven for wildlife with regular sightings of red kites, badgers and for the lucky few, otters at play. Holt Cottage is set in the countryside that Dylan Thomas would have gazed upon and has view of his Boathouse and Writing Shed.

You can see the countryside down to the sea and Caldey Island from the cottage bedroom windows. All the main attractions are within 30 minutes drive.
