The place has a central geographical location in West Finnmark. It is 1 to 2 hours drive to Nordkapp, Honningsvåg, Alta, Hammerfest, Havøysund, Lakselv and Karasjok. Smørfjord has nice hiking areas with good fishing waters and bogs. There is also the possibility of fishing in the sea from the jetty and rocks. In autumn and winter there is the possibility to see the Northern Lights.

The cabin is located completely by itself 100m from Lakselva, and has its own fishing place by the river which can be rented in addition to the cabin in the period 01jun-15sep contact me for booking.
