Clean and nice apartment, beautiful view, the host was super nice and helpful, and replying fast to any questions. Two things to know is that there is no parking in front of the building available, but a few meters down at the main road, and the road in front of the apartment is very steep, if you are visiting in winter and don't have a car with good traction control you might not make it up the hill directly in front of the apartment.

We had a lot of fun staying for two nights in this lovely, thoughtfully decorated apartment and big enough for two. We can only recommend it.

Excellent accommodation. Very friendly hosts; they answer within minutes and can come if you need anything. The house is cozy, there are giant TV, washing machine, dryer, fully equipped kitchen etc. There is even a small library, as well as both bath and shower. Totally recommend

The apartment is very nice spacious, and is in a very quiet residential area. The absolute highlight is the great panoramic nest with a perfect view of the Altafjord. And in fact, we also saw northern ones from there. It was also very pleasant that we were allowed to use the garage because it snowed almost daily and saved us so much work. An expectable house with every luxury of detail where it makes you feel very comfortable and without missing anything. Beds with bedding and very comfortable. Games in the house for big and small. Quiet and perfect place to disconnect. Expectacular price quality. We definitely look forward to returning soon.

The cosiest of homes in a stunningly beautiful location. The house was lovely & clean - it truly felt like home ❤️ the living room & kitchen were warm & hours were spent just looking out of the windows at the twinkling lights and falling snow. The bedrooms in the loft were warm and the beds were comfortable with warm bedding & blankets. The views over the town from the balcony were breathtaking and we caught glimpses of the Northern Lights from just outside the house, even though the weather was volatile. Gunn was so friendly and kind and nothing was too much trouble - offering help and advice to make our stay and travel easier, including finding us a hair dryer & really helpful advice about ferries to and from Tromsø. We had to cut our visit short due to incoming storms which was so disappointing but really hope to be back again

This is a great place to stay in Vardø. You get a nice big room and a very friendly and responsive host.

Enjoy staying at Border Jakobselv! Elise is a fantastic host, who had even baked cinnamon rolls and put in the freezer. Easy to communicate with! Awesome house with charm, with lots of nature and wilderness around. Highly recommend! 🥰

The apartment was great as shown in the pictures. Only inconvenience, we noticed that there was road closure, we consulted the host and never sent us a solution. When everything accompanies on a trip I understand that the place is ideal, but if you have any inconvenience, the closest you have as a tourist is the host, and in this case we had no help, not even a response.

Great place, high end to the last detail- without it being at the expense of the cool atmosphere. Everything was above and beyond, and Frode always responded quickly and informatively! Thumbs up and 10/10 👌

Great cosy apartment close to the center of Kirkenes, felt very homely. Good quality. Kamilla was very friendly and was there when I arrived to show me everything in the apartment and she was quick to respond I any questions I had. would definitely stay again.

Amazing Value, Mr.Tor is a very sweet host. There are quite a lot of things in the kitchen to have a snack. The place is very underated as pictures cannot show the reality. Very good location and scenic views from the stay. I’m out of words. Mr.Tor also have us reindeer hides and he has been very patient and supportive as I lost a set of keys out in the cold snow. Though he wasn’t home his wife took us in and drove to Mr.Tors work to her get extra keys. He also recommended us with quite some places to explore around also offered more help I didn’t expect. Thanks a lot Mr.Tor
