The place invites relaxation and tranquility and is located by the fjord on the Varanger peninsula in the Sami/Norwegian municipality Unjargga/Nesseby. (N70) Central to nature-based, seasonal activities and for exploring the Varanger peninsula, the National Park and Øst Finnmark. Rowboat, fire pit can be used freely by agreement. The host lives in the main apartment on the farm.

Luxury cabin by the river

This is a luxurious outdoor experience in raw Finnmark nature or sit inside in the living room watching the northerns lights through the large windows. If you come from abroad, the easiest way to get here is to fly to Alta and rent a car. Getting from Alta to Kokelv is about 2 hours. You can access by car to the front of the entrance area. The house contains 2 bedrooms with king size beds, 1 bedroom with 4 bunk beds and a TV room with a double sofa bed.

The apartment, built in summer 23, is modern with a fully equipped kitchen, a living room featuring a sofa area and TV, a cozy bathroom with a shower, a hallway, and a bedroom with a custom-built 150 cm bed. All rooms offer views of Hammerfest harbor area, Melkøya, and Håja. It's located on a side street, just a 5-minute walk from the city center. Unfortunately we don't have parking outside our house because the street is so narrow.

Hiking trails right outside the door. Skiers and hikers! You can walk straight out of the apartment and up to the mountain 900m above sea level. Fantastic view over the Lyngen alps! Peaceful and scenic area that offers hiking trails, beautiful nature and great opportunities to experience the northern lights. There is a sauna in the house and in addition a large wood-fired sauna on the neighboring property that can be used by appointment without additional charge.
