From the windows to the courtyard, the border mountains to Lower Franconia can be seen, e.g. Dammersfeld, Beilstein and Eierhauck. From here, many well-known excursion destinations can be quickly reached. For example, Wasserkuppe, Kreuzberg, Fulda, Bad Neustadt or Würzburg, as well as hiking and bike trails. Horseback riding is possible in the neighboring village.

Our guest house (approx. 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house can accommodate 4 people (2 adults + 2 children. On request, we also have a cot for the little ones. The courtyard offers space to romp and relax. From here you can explore Thuringia in all directions. Whether Eisenach, Erfurt, Meiningen, Suhl, Schmalkalden, Gotha, etc. are easily accessible from here. Oberhof, the winter sports center, is about 15 km away.
