In Schweinrich, on Lake Dranser, which is closed to motorboats, lies the romantic holiday home 'Landlust', with its idyllic, large garden, 100 metres from the bathing area. Our mökki is located on the wooded southern shore of Lake Möhnesee. And it brings a touch of the Finnish way of life to the space. The cottage stands close to the lake, in a secluded location and surrounded by trees and shrubs. It has its own outdoor sauna, a boat and a wood-burning stove. Welcome to your private hideaway!

Waldhäuschen *PURE NATURE* at a farmstead in the countryside

Our "cottage" is located directly on the edge of the forest behind our house, as part of an old mill yard! We are 1 kilometre away from the neighbours and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometres away. It is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

Country life, wellness and nature

At the Thiessen-Hof, you can uniquely combine the best of country life with modern comfort and wellness, based on a sustainable energy concept. In a special natural landscape, you can enjoy the wide view over fields and hedgerows. Welcome, dear guests! We are delighted that you are interested in our cozy guest house with its fantastic location. Surrounded by beautiful nature with deep gorges and small streams, partly natural forests and the adjacent fields and meadows with their biodiversity, the soul can come to rest and offer you the opportunity to recover from the stresses of everyday life. Here there is a touch of Frodo's Auenland :)

Gardenview

You live in your own little house with private entrance. It has a toilet, sink and shower, sauna on request (€20 extra) and a small, beautiful garden. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed (1.4 × 2 m), TV, DVD and a good stereo system. There is another sleeping accommodation (2 x 2 m) in the upper area. It is a private household. We are happy to have guests and always try to provide a personal welcome.

I am Tiny - a pretty wooden house on the edge of the forest!

I am furnished so that you can find relaxation and well-being. Through my large window front you can look into the countryside... onto a large meadow, trees and bushes. I've been around for 50 years… even though tiny houses are all the rage right now, I've been around a long time… but I've recently been renovated and look forward to welcoming interesting guests!

Vacation home with sauna

We moved from the city to an old farm in 2016 and live here together with our dog Dago and three cats in the middle of Schwarzenfels, a municipality of the city of Sinntal, below the beautiful Schwarzenfels Castle. We are gradually renovating the farm. In 2020, our "vacation home" project was completed and we are looking forward to our guests.
