We really enjoyed our time in Viareggio and this apartment was perfect for us! We stayed with the baby and Giovanni and Francesca made sure that we have everything we need for the baby. We would stay again and I highly recommend this place!

The view from the balcony, bedroom and dining room is beautiful. The garden is very well designed and even has a ping pong table. It is very quiet and 5min from the sea. We recovered very well and felt very comfortable, Iwona welcomed us and was very nice and likeable, we'd be happy to come back. It was the cleanest Airbnb we've ever been to. The private beach is easy to reach, but you can't expect a sandy beach and unfortunately the stairs were mounted away in April, so you couldn't swim.

Elisa is super nice and goes out of her way to make you feel right at home. She gave us cool tips and was always available for questions and helped. A really very nice place with lots of space that offers plenty of excursions. Thanks Elisa!

This place felt like home. You are within a villa which has lovely gardens to enjoy and strategically placed art to ponder. There is parking across the street if you have a car or a bus stop if you rather backpack your way around. We experienced both and each was a viable option. The air conditioning was very good, and there was ceiling fans which was a bonus. The wifi worked and was very useful. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. The location is just outside Lucca and perfect if you want to stay away from any crowds but also close enough to get to a lot of hot spots when desired. You get a local experience here…a bit of a time piece which is beautiful in itself. The host (Maria) was a delightful lady that provided much help and assistance as needed. We stayed for a month would have stayed longer if we could. I would definitely recommend this home in a heartbeat. Enjoy Italy 🇮🇹 🙏

We stayed at Sandra’s second apartment when the first became unavailable. She was very accommodating and communicative. The second apartment had everything we needed and was perfect for our stay. It is a short walk from two entrances to the wall and old city. It’s a great location and has a lot of local restaurants and services. Sandra helped us find a local office store to print a travel document that had to be printed at the last minute! Highly recommend Sandra as a host.

There were 4 of us who stayed for a few nights. The apartment and photos are as described and we had a lovely stay in Viareggio. We drove down from a stay up in Lake Como but ended up being late for our agreed check in time with Alfredo. However this wasn’t a problem. He created a short video with clear instructions on how to get into the apartment and we met him later on. He’s a lovely host, gives good advice and is always on standby for any advice or to resolve any minor issues. The place is around a 10-15 minute bike ride from the beach (bikes in basement) and there’s a bakery nearby. It’s a short drive to the promenade, and around half an hour to Pisa and 1.5 hours to Florence. We enjoyed our trip and we were fortunate to find Alfredo’s place was available. Don’t think twice on booking it.

Very well decorated and cozy flat, everything new, Simone was very attentive and friendly, we were able to check in early, which was very kind, excellent location for those who go by car and want to visit Tuscany, one of the few places with free parking. We would stay there again

Stayed at Andrea's condo for a month, and can't say enough abut how great it was. Well-furnished kitchen, super clean overall, and just a mere 10 minute bike ride ( I rented a bike down the road for the month) to the Lucca wall, the train station, and the Coop supermarket. There is a great bakery (Forno Ghilardi), a butcher, and Trattoria "Da Ildo" less than 10 minutes walk. Cycling into the nearby hills a visiting the outlying villages was great, and the locals are very cycling friendly. Lucca itself has so much to offer in terms of cuisine, the arts, and sights, and even though it is a tourism mecca, it has to be one of the friendliest cities I've ever visited. For down time, my favorite thing was gilling in the yard at Andrea's place and enjoying dinner al fresco in a quiet neighborhood with views of the surrounding mountains and meadows. I can't recall why I chose Lucca in the first place, but staying at Andrea's was definitely the right choice, and I will come back.

Mauro's place is amazing. It is very clean, conveniently located near the airport and the train station, and it's within walking distance to the town. We stayed here to visit Pisa, Cinque Terre, and Florence. I highly recommend it! Mauro provided easy instruction to get into house and he was very flexible with check-in and check-out out

Stayed in 3 places in a week. This one was the best. Cozy, warm, private yard with parking spot, feels safe. Great location, not so far away from sea and Pisa center. Everything clean. Michele was very helpful and kind. Thank you for a great stay!

fantastic apartment, spacious, clean and bright spaces. We were in six people, all very satisfied. Comfortable beds, equipped with various very useful things. I could be wrong but it seemed to me not to see an emergency kit that could be very useful.

If I could give more than five stars, I would! The apartment was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable stay. Miriam and Roberto considered every detail—from the super comfy beds to the warm welcome. It's perfectly located near the central station, making it easy to catch trains to Cinque Terre. Miriam communicated promptly and warmly, offering helpful local tips. It’s clear they truly care about their guests' experience. Despite our early morning checkout, they came to see us off and even drove our heavy bags to the station—such a kind gesture! Their hospitality made us feel like we were visiting friends. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone heading to the Cinque Terre region. Thank you, Miriam and Roberto, for making our visit so memorable!

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 week stay in Helene’s apartment! It was well located and easy to get to shopping, restaurants, groceries, etc. It was also well located for day trips throughout Tuscany - by train and through private tours we booked. Helene was very responsive throughout the entire process. Tania coordinated the details for our arrival. Nicole met us and gave us a quick tour of the apartment as well as recommendations for grocery stores and sightseeing. She was also very responsive to needs and questions we had throughout our stay. We found it to be a very relaxing and inviting place to stay and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in Lucca. Grazie Mille to Helene, Tania and Nicole!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Formentale. The house was exactly as described, clean, cozy and cared for in every detail. Francesca was an exceptional host: helpful, friendly and attentive, respecting our privacy. The location of the apartment was ideal for exploring the area, and we also really appreciated your suggestions on activities and places to visit with children. A beautiful stay! The apartment was perfect for a relaxing break. The spacious terrace with plenty of sun and shade spots as well as the wonderfully warm hot hot tub were real highlights! The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen sufficiently equipped for our needs. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come again at any time. A small minus point was the traffic noise – but this is to be expected if you live so close to the city: a few minutes' walk from the city wall and the old town. Great location, we highly recommend it!
