This was a perfect stay. Sabine is so lovely and accommodating with wonderful recommendations. The location is a dream with the river and bike path across the street that leads to Chartres. To bike to the cathedral and skip parking was amazing. The house is beautiful, well decorated, clean and has everything you need for a great stay. Sabine is right next door in the chateau if you need anything. She also had some food items and water waiting which was very thoughtful. It felt like home away from home. Highly recommend.

L'Orangerie is an exceptional gîte: the quality of the renovation - while comfortable - competes with the tasteful layout while respecting the original structure.

Charming house in a quiet area. Relaxing stay and welcoming hosts. The Easter bells were even past. We'll be happy to go back on occasion.

very nice place, our 2 year old son was delighted to see the chickens, the goats, the frogs , the two horses and this beautiful dog! Marilyn and the whole family are very welcoming and super nice! we'll be happy to go back!
