Had a lovely stay in Lani’s apartment - the view is beautiful and they have gone above and beyond providing all you could need for your stay- the little touches didn’t go unnoticed <3 Lani was responsive and helpful. Seixal beach is a short walk away and a supermarket very close. There is a car park with easy access in and out. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully finished apartment in Madeira, which perfectly balances the essence of home with holiday chic. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen areas and a charming garden oasis created a serene atmosphere, even in February. The private garden, accessible from both the bedroom and the lounge, was a lovely retreat, and the en-suite shower and spacious wardrobes added to our comfort, as well as a separate laundry and a water closet The location next to Mercado dos Lavradores was fantastic. The highlight of our stay was the stunning rooftop glass infinity pool, which offered breathtaking views of Funchal and the sea. This apartment provided the best self-catering experience on the island, equipped with a well-appointed kitchen, quality toiletries, and free parking. Very well located accommodation. Price and quality ratio 100% in place. Fruit and water were waiting for us upon arrival. The host is very responsive to questions and is very helpful. We arrived in Funchal a bit early and the host allowed us an earlier check-inn and also met us with a later check-out while we were waiting for our rental car. We lived on the third floor, and the house also had an elevator that was comfortable to use with a stroller. Considering the accommodation is downtown, the windows provided plenty of soundproofing.

Everything went smoothly, as described and instructed. The host was very helpful and flexible. For example, he agreed to a later checkout. Parking is a bit difficult due to few parking spaces in the neighborhood parking lot. There wasn't always space. On the other hand, there is public parking nearby for €6.5 per night.

Check-in was no problem and we were able to check into the apartment earlier due to an early arrival. Daniela responded promptly to inquiries and was friendly and helpful at all times. The apartment is easily accessible by car and is furnished as in the photos. The apartment is a good starting point for exploring the island and you can reach the port of Funchal in 10 minutes by car. We particularly liked the unique view of the coast and the sea from the large terrace. We will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment had everything we needed, and the views were absolutely stunning. Manny was a fantastic host—communication was smooth and effortless. The location is peaceful, set in a charming small village. A car is necessary to get around, but that’s typical for most of Madeira. The only downside was the cold, but Manny provided heaters, which made a big difference. Overall, we highly recommend this place for a great stay! 😊

The house looks even nicer than in the photos and is great. The apartment is super clean and spacious and well equipped. Especially the kitchen is well equipped. Thank you for the nice hospitality.

I had the best time at Mario’s house, the house is absolutely stunning. I needed a peaceful place to write and work and the terrace was perfect. Mario is the perfect host, he gave precise instructions and sent a lovely file with info about the area. Definitely recommend it!

We had an amazing stay with Joao, Sonia, and Beatriz. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive. We were treated to fresh homemade eggs, delicious fruit, and a fantastic bottle of homemade Madeira wine from Joao, which made our experience even more special. Everything was perfect, and we truly enjoyed our time there. We would absolutely love to return someday! Highly recommend this wonderful place and the lovely hosts!

Breathtaking location, best views for our daily breakfasts and drinks at night, village was beautiful and offered exceptional restaurants (best espetada we had our entire trip), everything walkable from house. The outdoor living space was exceptional: tons of seating to soak in view and even a covered functional masonry bbq area. Beds were super comfortable and showers warm and great water pressure too. Rental even offered personal gated pkg area that was tricky for us Americans but that was user error for sure. 💯% would rent again and hope to! Thanks for all of your help and responsiveness Dina, loved every moment of our stay!

Great house, great host and good location. Felt right at home and removed all of our tiredness after flying 24 hours from Melbourne. The place is extremely clean. Will be back.

The location of the apartment is perfect. The apartment itself is spacious, the beds are very comfortable. It was clean, the only problem is the humidity during the winter months. A dehumidifier would be ideal. Antonio is very friendly, as a welcome we got a bottle of good wine and the famous Bolo de mel ❤️

I really liked everything! The most important thing is that a very large balcony is one of the best viewpoints on the island! The apartment is exactly as pictured. Everything is clean . The host of the apartment is very quick to answer any questions . We were very satisfied. We'll definitely come again !

The condo is just as described and has an awesome view of the sunrise and moonrise. Hearing the waves crashing just below was soothing, even when it was stormy outside. We found it to be close enough to all the places we wanted to go with a rental car. We went into Funchal numerous times, did a jeep tour with a levada walk, a whale/dolphin watching tour where we saw some pilot whales, drove to the east side where we saw some spectacular views from the cliffs and tried for sunrise at Pico de Arreiro but it was too windy and rainy to see anything. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great!

The apartment was really great. Clean, fantastic views. Communication with the landlord was straightforward, he was always available. We were able to enter the apartment 2 hours before the agreed time and on the day of departure we were organized a taxi.

This stay far exceeded our expectations. The apartment boasts truly spectacular views, framed by the largest bedroom window I’ve ever seen—it feels like a living painting. The love and care that Paul and Dina have poured into this space are palpable, making it feel like an extension of their own home. We’re so grateful to have spent a few days in this little slice of heaven, and the hosts were incredibly attentive. The only minor downside is the noise from the road when the windows or balcony doors are open, but with them closed, it’s pure tranquility. If you’re lucky enough to find this place available, don’t hesitate—just book it!

Arsenia was an amazing host and made everything easy and super friendly. The space was clean and spacious with all you would need and very comfortable. The location was truly amazing in the middle of the island, secluded and quiet and on the doorstep of all the hiking you could want. If you want to go hiking or just get away from bustle of the towns and coast this is the perfect place to really feel the pulse of Madeira and the people.
