we spent 2 weeks in the villa .It has the most stunning views of mount Etna . The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay including a well equipped indoor and outdoor kitchen .The pool area is beautiful with lemon and orange trees .All of which you can pick and enjoy throughout your stay .It's a shirt walk into town where there are a couple of restaurants and coffee shops .There's also a supermarket . You can use the local bus and there is also a hop.on hop off tourist bus .This will take you to the tourist hot stops .We had a car which we would recommend as it allows you to explore the whole area . Parking is on the property and very secure .Giovanni was very helpful ,friendly and was very responsive when we had questions .We had a wonderful stay in the villa and felt it was great value for money . Alessandro is a great and accommodating host! We found the place even more beautiful than in the photos and felt very comfortable right away, especially with the great terrace and comfortable bed! The location is great as a starting point for excursions to the Alcantara gorges, Mount Etna or the coast, and you can still enjoy the relaxed village life and proximity to nature. Because of the mixed weather, we rented a car, Alessandro also supported us and it was a good experience. However, there are also buses, or the possibility to hike from the village. The place has everything you need and a really great fruit vegetable shop. Overall we had a great time - thank you Alessandro!

We had a lovely, short stay at the EcoLodge. The cottage is very comfortably furnished and Cinzia is a very nice hostess.
