Chalet holiday rentals in Great Rift Valley

Beautiful home in a very convenient location. Close to giraffe center, elephant center, local shopping and easy access to airports. The staff was wonderful and cooked a last minute meal for when our UberEats order was canceled. Would highly recommend.

We stayed two nights at the chalet to go birding in the Lake Baringo area. Safe and tranquil spot with lots of birds, including a hornbill that visited our house both mornings that we were there. Kitchen is well-equipped but keep in mind that in Kenya it is common to have refrigerators unplugged until guests arrive so maybe don’t bring a ton of items that need to be refrigerated (we brought some and it was fine but we didn’t load up the fridge). The host would probably be happy to plug in the fridge if you communicate in advance that you will need it right away. The chalet was very clean, but living in the desert there will always be insects so be prepared for a couple harmless common wall spiders and a couple of their friends. There were mosquito nets for both beds. WiFi was excellent. Hot showers! The hosts will offer to arrange tours for you when you arrive which is nice but we politely declined this time. All in all the chalet was a great place for a self-drive birding stop.

The villa was very clean, looks better in person and the staff are very friendly, polite, professional and always willing to help when needed. Joshua is a great host who was kind enough to move us to an even better villa with better decor before checking in with no extra cost added because the one we had initially booked had been scheduled for minor maintenance works that day. 10/10 without a second thought for me. I highly recommend the villas.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying at the 3 chalets over the Christmas holidays with friends. The chalets were spotless, cozy, and well-equipped, set in a quiet and stunning location that allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the holiday spirit. A special shoutout to Eva for her exceptional support throughout our stay. She was incredibly attentive and ensured we had everything we needed, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend these chalets to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway. We’re already looking forward to returning for another memorable trip!

Future Guests: PLEASE BE ADVISED! Like in many countries in Africa, there are periods where there is no electricity. This is very much the case on the island of Zanzibar. Please don't complain about it. There is nothing that can be done. I brought four candles with me and used two. With that out of the way, let me tell you how amazing this place is! I had a wonderful time at Dullah's. My little place was comfy and enough for my time in Zanzibar. The beach is an easy 10 minute walk. When you get to the beach. Along the way you will see many bars and shops. The place was clean and I was very comfortable, IT's HOT! I highly recommend having fresh sugar cane juice with ginger and lemon. It is so refreshing, you will love it. The mangos are superb and the pineapple very delicious. I'm from Spain so I wasn't a big fan of the oranges because the ones in Spain are better. LOL. Book this place! I know I will return for sure. Asante! Enjoy your time in Zanzibar ❤️

We had a wonderful stay. A remarkable house, in a wonderful setting, more beautiful than the photographs suggest. This is a great place to 'chill' and to explore the local area. The house is stylish, clean and well equipped and the views from the upper story rooms are stunning. Sharon and the local team were attentive and most helpful, from the initial tour of the farm to the provision of all sorts of wonderful fresh vegetables from the garden. They also arranged a trip and short walk to the Mau Mau caves (do this through them and a local ranger can meet you at the house), and although the track up the mountain, to the cave, proved interesting in the 'wet mud' we were blessed with glorious sunshine on the top, along with pristine forest, wild grassy meadows and Colobus monkeys! Definitely worth the effort. More than anything we loved quiet evenings by the fire, either inside or with the firepit on the patio. This is an extraordinary place and highly recommended!

Fantastic views and a wonderful team. Mattresses could be more comfortable especially in master bedroom. Really lovely place and really enjoyed our stay

The surroundings and view was truly breathtaking! We very much enjoyed swimming in the pool which was perfectly placed to enjoy the views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Sam was extremely accommodating and we enjoyed a walk to spot some wildlife with him. He also prepared a bonfire each evening. Also, it was very convenient to have transport organised and delicious meals prepared.

This Airbnb was perfect for a getaway from Dar. It is far enough out to feel like you have traveled (but not too far to feel you can’t afford the travel expense). The rooms are so beautifully decorated with a mixture of old and new for a quaint, beach feel. The kitchen… oh I will dream of this kitchen for the rest of my life! The staff was helpful and kind. The communication was quick and clear. Need to get away but don’t want to go too far… this is the place for you!
