Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Groningen

We were working in Groningen for a week and it was a wonderful peaceful place to stay. Watching the barges go silently by right at the end of the garden while your relax after a busy day is extremely peaceful. Very nice walks from the house in several directions and don't miss the vismarkt a block away for and excellent lunch or dinner.

Lovely little skipper's house to stay some nights. If you like to walk in the city, the house is a top distance from the city center. The house was otherwise well clean, nice in the center and comfortable!

Perfect place to stay! Spotlessly clean, super equipped and ideally located. The host was very friendly and helpful – we will be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

It was a good stay at Inez's place! Nice cottage, more fun than in the photos. Nice bed, nice kitchen with everything you need. In the middle of the meadows and within walking distance a mini village. Had a delicious breakfast on request and even got delicious oliebollen from Inez on New Year's Eve! Highly recommendable :)

Beautiful historic house in the center of Groningen. We enjoyed it. Isidor and Emilio welcomed us and showed us the house and were easily accessible for questions and tips.

We really enjoyed our vacation at this wonderful place. Everything was very clean (there was no sign that a cat usually lives there), the kitchen very well equipped and the entire apartment furnished with attention to detail. Very comfortable beds. Fresh flowers to welcome us on the kitchen table. We felt right at home. The small garden is also lovingly landscaped. The location is perfect and quiet, you walk 15 minutes into the city and in the immediate vicinity was the city park, which is especially great for dog owners. The contact with Marije was straightforward, she always responded immediately and made us feel welcome. We will be happy to come back, 100% recommendation.

What a lovely wing of a beautiful, artfully decorated old house. We loved the out door kitchen BQ area and the lovely homemade rolls and marmalade for breakfast each morning with fresh coffee. Beautiful garden to explore and our dog was made very welcome. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Parking too! 😀

We had a great experience, the accommodation is really nice, clean and spacious. There are no pillow cases and sheets, so you have to either bring your own or there is the option to rent some. Overall, it was a great experience, the place was peaceful and quiet.

Josiane's vacation home was a beautiful, modern new stay at a lovely place on the campsite by the beach. We stayed here as a family of 3 one night and combined it with a visit to family and a trip to the Sprookjeshof. What was extremely nice was the quick and pleasant communication in advance. We were also really thought along with us and even an extra heater was arranged due to our child. The best part was a nice walk with our child on the beach that is really next to the cottage.

Very nice place right by the lake! Everything is well arranged so the arrival is smooth. The only thing is that we couldn't find a clear number so you really have to look at the map to arrive at the right chalet. In low season (winter), make sure that almost all amenities are closed. We had a great time. The chalet was super clean and neatly decorated with plenty of pans, plates, cups and cutlery. There were also games available which was very nice! It was also very thoughtful that there was a welcome gift. All in all, we had a great stay!

Very friendly place, safari tent was simple and clean. Bathrooms were nearby and also clean. Place is well-kept.

We had a lovely week with our two children (5 and 8 years) in the cottage on the Schildmeer. We were able to swim almost every day and otherwise explored the surroundings (Groningen, Appingedam, Delfzijl). The amenities are better than indicated: there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand and tea towels and a large selection of cooking utensils and spices in the kitchen. There is no oven, but a microwave where we prepared our casserole. We had a good time and say thank you very much!

We had a few things in Groningen and Drenthe on our to-view-do list, and this was a great location for all of that. A quiet campsite, in a small but cosy chalet. A car is needed. Your host is very responsive, and truly helpful. Kitchen is basic, but has all you need. Enough place outside to sit, our kids found a dvd movie they liked, all fine! We can recommend!

Lies is a fantastic host who was very helpful when we lost a credit card on her property. the location is amazing and feels like home.

For work, my colleagues stayed there, Was fine, no further use of the facilities.

Just outside the city of Groningen, in a beautiful green place you can relax! We had a pleasant stay and Lydia is a warm hostess. Together with our dog, who was also more than welcome! Groningen city center is a stone's throw away, nice accommodation for visiting the city and surroundings!

Great place! Very cozy, comfy bed, clean and responsive host. All in all a very pleasant experience :)

We found this airbnb on a search for a place where a boat was also available. Well, we are not disappointed. What a lovely place. The boat house converted into a vacation home is right on the water and you can sail up the lake from your holiday home! Beautiful view and equipped with all the comforts!
