Tucked out of the way in the countryside, Groton is centrally located only 20 minutes from Ithaca and 15 from Cortland. This is a cute 1920s house in a quiet location just down the street from a bakery, a pizza place, a diner, and the local library. The room has a comfy queen bed and lots of morning light to wake you gently. A light breakfast of fruit and granola is available (and, of course, coffee and tea!). I have a cat visiting until Feb 2.

She is also in walking distance to a couple of restaurants and a coffee shop as well as a nice hiking/walking trail. Her house and the bedroom are clean and comfortable and she's easy to communicate with before and during the stay.”

Full kitchen with granite counter tops, and breakfast bar. Very comfortable hybrid queen mattress for a good night's sleep! Groton is 15 minutes to Cortland State, 20 to Cornell University/downtown Ithaca, and 30 to Ithaca College. We enjoy being close to state parks and wineries. We will be happy to provide you with directions and/or suggestions for things to do in the area. We look forward to hosting you!

Beth's listing was the closest so I just went with it not really expecting much. However, I was so thrilled when I walked in to find this absolutely amazing place. We loved it so much that we wished we could have stayed extra days. So glad we didn't go with a cramp hotel room. The place was so clean and inviting, so easy to navigate and very spacious. Neat and tidy, everything as expected, except a much nicer, seemingly brand new bathroom with double sinks and excellent lighting. Wonderful collection of shampoos, soaps and lotions. Two bedrooms, large living room with TV, two couches, and a table top with four stools, provide excellent space for a family of four (or more). No kitchen, but small fridge and new coffee pot were all we needed. Appreciated the coffee, creamers, and granola bars left for our use. Very close to Cornell if headed that direction - no more than 20 minutes to campus. Very easy check-in, great communication with host. Will stay here again!”
