Time out from everyday life in our historic accommodation. Idyllic secluded location on the edge of the forest. A car is needed as there is no connection to public transport. Wiehl center is about 3 km away with various shops, bakeries and restaurants. Heating is provided by radiators connected to our heat pump, which is powered by green electricity. Idyllically located under old trees in a small mountain village with beautiful sun terrace and a heavenly panoramic view of nature. On cooler days, in addition to the central heating, the well-dried wood in the fireplace brings cozy warmth and a crackling atmosphere into the spacious living/dining room. Between Bonn, Koblenz and Wiesbaden, the 320 km-long Rheinsteig, on the right of the Rhine, leads on narrow paths and demanding climbs uphill and downhill to forests, vineyards and spectacular views.

The cottage is furnished in vintage style and has a fireplace in addition to electric heating. A kitchen newly built in 2022 with fridge, dishwasher, induction, oven, and everything else you might need, outdoor grill, covered terrace. Towels and bowls are available for dogs. Hiking from the house is possible for hours.

In the picturesque landscape of the Westerwald, you have the ideal opportunity to relax and unwind. Our house has 50m² of space for a maximum of 4 people. It is modernly decorated and offers every comfort you can think of. Of course, the hot tub and sauna are very special.

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.
