Beachfront holiday rentals in Halki

We stayed at a time of the big fire. The host communicated with us very well and quickly, providing information about the state of the fire. He also brought us water when the shops were closed due to this situation. Host welcoming. The place matches the photos. It was tidy. The only thing we were dealing with was a pile of ants and a lockbox that couldn't be opened.

I know what the place looked like before. Kiki and Vassoula have turned the apartment into a gem. A lot of love put into all the details and also remaining true to the old traditional style. Once more, I'd like to thank you. It was like coming home for us again. Now I feel like coming back to Halki again and again.

Spacious and peaceful villa - well equipped with everything needed

We spontaneously decided on kitesurfing holidays on Fanes and came across this accommodation. For this type of vacation the property is perfect (2 min walk from the Meltemi kite club, plenty of space and garden hose available). The place was significantly better than shown in the pictures (very bright, super quiet location, sea and sunset view, 2 bathrooms with shower & toilet). One small drawback is that the air conditioning is located in the living-dining area, so it was quite warm in the bedroom. In addition, there was a slightly damp smell in the cottage at the beginning. A car is strongly recommended, as the shopping facilities are about a 20-minute walk away. We would definitely stay at this place again.

The location of the house is unbeatable. Every morning we enjoyed the view of the turquoise blue sea and swam in it before breakfast. Faidra takes care of the wishes of her guests quickly and understandingly. We would like to come back as soon as possible. Thanks Faidra!

Sea Villa Kalavarda is the perfect place if you want to stay away from the crowds. It is spacious, clean, and private. There is a nice little beach a few steps from the house that you don't have to share wth anyone. For bigger beaches, drive to Porto Antico, about 4 km. Here you have great food and lovely sunsets. It is advisable to rent a car to get around from Kalavarda. Lovely place and I would go back there tomorrow!

This apartment is fantastic. It is clean and comfortable and the location is outstanding. The kitchen is very well equipped but there’s no need to cook as there are plenty of cafes and tavernas to choose from. The water taxi that takes you to Kania beach is right in front of the property. The other two beaches are within walking distance. Although the property is on the waterfront it is quiet. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the world go by and we can’t wait to return.

My three boys (20, 17 and 17) and I had a great time here. The location is perfect, a stones throw from the beautiful quiet beach and a short walk from some really good friendly Greek restaurants. To top it off: a pool - decisions, decisions: pool or sea today! The Villa was perfectly functional and clean and best of all it had air con in every room.

Our week in Michael’s beautiful villa was made all the better by his fabulous advice and recommendations. The beach is so incredibly close with two great beach bars. It is pebbly so beach shoes help but water is crystal clear. The village is a slow 5 min walk & has the best supermarket and green grocers I have ever seen. The bakery has fab coffee & delicious traditional and artisan bakes. The village comes alive at night with restaurants- a weeks not long enough to try them all & we ate out every night! Special mention to Mama’s (amazing pizza- did take away one night, eaten on beach watching sunset!) On Kiotari beach (12 mins) Sirocco was brilliant- 5euros for the most comfy Sun bed & waitress service -authentic, fresh & v reasonable. That’s all before the beautiful villa! Everything has been considered, from all the kitchen equipment you could want to so many areas to chill, read, or be sociable. Superb bathrooms, AC, sea view balconies, comfy beds & Michael, the perfect host!

We stayed four nights in this house. The location was really nice, beach, supermarket and restaurants were in walking distance and we had everything we needed.

We had a great week at the villa. Communication with Daffy was hassle-free and he always responded within minutes. At check-in we were greeted in a very friendly way. The kitchen is equipped with all the equipment and dishes. Chilled water, vegetables for a salad and wine were prepared for the reception. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Very nice stay at Villa Costa Gennadi, there were 6 of us, the house is very well-equipped, the proximity to the beach is perfect, and the location in general is perfect for those who do not like tourist areas, we went to dinner in the village 15 min on foot and the beach was almost ours (very few people, sometimes no one). We would definitely recommend this Airbnb 🙂

We had an amazing time with our family at this place. The villa was exceptional. The host was very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

The accommodation is quiet and close to the sea. The house is lovingly furnished with everything you need on vacation. There was nothing lacking. Since there were only two of us, it was also very generous. The supply of food provided was very attentive. We felt very comfortable.

We enjoyed the unfortunately only 2 days in this beautiful house. We were welcomed directly at the ferry and were able to get into the house a little earlier. Everything is very nice and tastefully decorated with a lot of love in detail. The location is great, in the middle of the action, right on the harbor. We would book right away again. There was also a bottle of wine, water and juice and delicious honey as a guest gift. Shower gel, soap, hairdryer, etc. all available. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

The house is spacious, well appointed and ideally located for guests who like to spend their holidays away from the crowds. The most from this location: - Gennadi beach nearby on foot and without mass tourism (no umbrellas or water sports) - the village of Gennadi (accessible rather by car because a little far on foot) offers the essential amenities - restaurants remain open even after the peak tourist season (at least they were still in early November) unlike those in seaside resorts - the place is wild; there are horses in the nearby field and we had the chance to see deer as well - Hosts give a warm welcome to the keys are handed over Things to know: the house overlooks the access road to the south of the island. For our part, it was not disturbing, but as there is no gate, it is better to carefully monitor if you are coming with young children.

This was our second stay at Sofia’s house and we absolutely loved it again. The location couldn’t possibly be more beautiful, with the stunning Ftenagia beach just a few metres away. The outdoor seating area is perfect and the views are just breathtaking. Sofia couldn’t do more to help us and always ensures we have the perfect stay. We were so sad to leave this special place. We love the house so much that we’ve booked it for our wedding weekend on Halki next year. Thank you again Sofia, we can’t wait to be back soon!

Wonderful holiday house in a nice area near to the sea. Well equipped. Host very friendly. Nice views from the terrace and from the balcony.

we are a couple who like to travel always. last ten years every summer we spend some weeks at dodecanese islands. we stayed very good houses and hotels. But Zoe's home was the best place we stayed. the house have a sprit. Decoration gorgeous, house design lovely. historical house in a new summer house design. perfect. We spend a week in chalki. last 3 day was at Zoe's house. And after discover her house we left going to the beach:) Because it is lovely to swim in front of the house. Or drink a cup a wine watching sunset. And Zoe i think she is a talente designer. And i believe this house must be one of the airbnb design house soon. We didnt see Zoe, but Haris, Panos helped us and Zoe was ready on the phone for all the questions. She left for us some snacks, wine, cafe and everthing. the house was a like perfect luxury boutique apart. At the end, we hope to came back to Chalki again and the only place to stay in our mind is Zoe's house.

We had an amazing time here. 5 adults and 3 young children under 4. Host had great communication, very helpful if needed. Couldn’t fault it. Villa is in an amazing location with lovely beach at the bottom of the garden. Village nearby is 4 mins in car. Great tavernas and bakery etc. and loads more all within 20 minute drives. Highly recommend this place

Marios and his father Martis have been great hosts. They took are of check-in and check-out with kindness and professionalism. The house is lovely and Martis provided clear suggestions about how to spend the time from the Villa in Fanes. We have been fully satisfied and we will suggest the place to our network.

This was the perfect getaway! The house is in an amazing location, right next to the sea, so we enjoyed stunning views throughout our stay. The spacious layout made it feel like a true home away from home, with plenty of room to relax. Both the terrace and balcony were incredible spots to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery. Michail was friendly, helpful, and very flexible, accommodating all of our needs with ease. He even went above and beyond by bringing us fresh pastries from the local bakery, which was such a thoughtful touch! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can't wait to return!
