Its central location in the heart of Germany makes it ideal for transit; the A7/A5 motorway is just 10 minutes away. There are numerous cycle and hiking trails in the area. The Sassen/Richthof co-habitation community is located approximately 7 minutes away by car. Groceries in Schlitz or Niederaula can be reached in 10 minutes.

Our granny flat "Zum kleinen Zollstock" is small but OHO. It is accessible at ground level. The bathroom offers a floor-level shower in addition to a toilet and sink. Towels and shower gel are provided. The sofa bed can be extended to 1.60 m and invites you to relax with the rotating smart TV. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a fridge, induction stovetop, mini oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and matching accessories.

Cozy room Friedewald, Hesse/ A4

I am renting out an apartment in a historic half-timbered house in Friedewald, approximately 12 km from the spa and festival town of Bad Hersfeld. Very close to the A4, but still in a quiet location. In addition to the room with a double bed (which can be converted into two single beds on request), there is a small bathroom and a small kitchen. The upper floor is unoccupied and is currently still a construction site.

The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.

In the village, there is a nice outdoor pool and good gastronomy - around it a lot of forest. Our café serves breakfast weekdays from 6 AM and on weekends from 7 AM.
