Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Het Hogeland

Very nice place, we felt immediately comfortable. Everything is high quality and practically furnished, furniture and pictures are tasteful, there are beautiful and special lamps everywhere. We had a lot of spices, oil and our own knives with us, that wouldn't have been necessary at all. Irene was extraordinarily kind and helpful. Those were very special days for us, thank you so much!

We had a great stay at Steffen's place. The house was equipped as described, which we have rarely experienced so far, so that we felt very comfortable. The kids went on a voyage of discovery right away and found plenty to deal with wonderfully. We stayed in the house just before Easter and we didn't get bored. Most of the restaurants etc were already open at least on weekends. Only the boat tours start after our departure on April 19. (as information for successors who want to travel in the same period... :-)) Steffen responded super quickly and looked for solutions to problems and always had them ready. Thank you very much for this! We hope you continue to enjoy wonderful guests who appreciate and treat your jewelry. Maybe see you next time! :-)

Enjoying the large garden, making friends with cat Willem, looking for an egg every day with the kids, baking mud pies, jumping on the trampoline and sitting by the fire on the covered terrace in the evening. For us 4 adults and 2 kids this was the perfect vacation. Many thanks to Joanne and her family for their hospitality, generosity and all the thoughtful details.

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic house! It is really perfectly appointed – everything you need is there, and it is super clean and spacious. The house is a real retreat to relax with lots of great extras such as the boat, whirlpool and perfectly equipped kitchen. The location is just ideal and our children felt very comfortable there – they even fell asleep quickly, which speaks for the comfort. Overall an absolute dream that we would book again at any time. Highly recommended!

Had a perfect stay for a few days. We wanted a weekend of chill and that's what we got :) Sauna and hottub were fantastic for relaxing, especially after a nice walk in the forest. That's all actually! Everything was in order and as expected. Recommended spot for calming down.

We spent a wonderful week at Aagje in Een-West. Beautiful spacious house with a lovely garden. Good beds. We met wonderfully sunny weather. Since it is still early in the year, it was also wonderful to sit in the igloo greenhouse at the end of the afternoon;where it was warmed up by the sun. Aagje is a very sweet hostess;cheerful,interested and always willing to give information about the beautiful surroundings. Very cosy and atmospheric camping! We got a full tour of the camping upon arrival. The showers are big and clean and the beds are very comfortable.

Very tasteful, colorful apartment to feel good. Nothing was missing. However, we would have liked to have had a heater in the bathroom and a second duvet. The location is great. Downtown can be reached in 10 minutes by bike. The weekend was lovely!

We had a very comfortable short stay at Roger's place. Close to the boat towards Schiermonnikoog. Staying here is highly recommended!

Thomas & Marrit's house is really lovely-well thought out apartment. It's a 15 minute drive to Groningen and the surroundings and the house/garden itself are so nice. They were also friendly, flexible & helpful. As shared in the description, there is some noise from passing trains and cars, but you can watch it from the window, and my 3 year old loved that. I also enjoyed staying in the box wall bed, so unique. The kitchen is minimal, with just the essentials and no dishwasher, but it's perfect for a short stay. I would definitely come back to this house and better explore their garden along the water, the trampoline and the piano/stage area that is inside the property when you first walk in.

Ellen and Jaap were lovely hosts, we had an incredible stay at their place! It was so creatively and artistically decorated, and I have never slept better at an Airbnb — the beds were so comfortable, and the neighborhood was so peaceful. It was awesome to have a sweet dog and cat roaming around to make us animal-lovers feel right at home :) 5/5 stars on all levels!

What a lovely cozy cottage. Nice atmosphere! Back in time and with all the comforts. Lovely bed and modern bathroom, lovely with underfloor heating. Beautiful surroundings and warm hostess. I enjoyed it! Thank you!

Nice nice space with a nice and working wood stove. Everything you need for a stay is present.

Now and again you run into an Airbnb like this which ticks all the boxes. Raymond is a great host with excellent communication. His place is super comfortable and luxurious. The kitchen is hyper equipped, the tv surround system is a treat and you can cast your music to the Sonos system . The bathroom is huge and well equipped , the bed is super comfy. The location is in the middle of the woods and due to zero light pollution the starry skies are magnificent. Highly recommended

Zilverduin is a beautiful house! The location was our favourite feature; within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Leonie was great with giving us tips about the area and things that were handy like rental bikes which got delivered straight to the house - what a luxury! A few things I would have liked to see though, would be: something to handle the mosquitos in the house and higher quality bedding items (the crib for the baby was below expectations for a house at this price point, as were the pillows). Other than that, the host was easy to reach. There is also a caretaker nearby to speak to incase of any emergency. The host also was kind enough to let us check in early and change our dates last minute all to accommodate our ferry times (which I highly suggest booking WELL in advance, ie weeks, if not months!). She also allowed my friends to bring their service dog even though we notified her late. All in all, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay with two families and our kids!

We had a great extended weekend at this beautiful place. ( 4 adults, 3 children) We lacked nothing. The communication was great, the contact very friendly. A great house, beautiful location, great island.

A beautiful house in a beautiful place. Especially the large living space on the first floor, overlooking the water and a sheltered outdoor space to sit outside (already in April) stand out. The area is accessible, has a lot to do, also within walking distance. Highly recommended.

What a lovely house with top garden and facilities this is. Whatever you want to do... it's possible here. And everything is also very clearly stated. If you need to know something, you'll get a quick response to your question. Simply: great!

Very nice and spacious place to relax and cook and dine! The house is located between other (detached) houses but has plenty of privacy and a very well-maintained garden with many cozy seats and user comforts. We loved the hot tub, sauna and BBQ facilities.

Our stay with Margriet corresponded in all points to the photos and description. The house spacious, especially downstairs with large dining table and enough seating for 8 people. Tastefully styled, practical and plenty of kitchen utensils, a beautiful sun terrace and a super boathouse with canoes and saps, the absolute highlight for the grandchildren. They didn't expect anything like that (because grandma had missed it in the description). Therefore, this was our absolute highlight at Margriet's. Martina and family in April 2025

A lovely house with every comfort! What a nice island Ameland is and what a nice place is holiday home Chill. Nice village where you can still do your shopping in the neighborhood supermarket, eat out at the farm and in the evening then chill in the house.
