There are no other guests on the property. There are beautiful walks on the doorstep with a Medieval Millhouse on the Charente river 300 metres away and chemins stretching for miles around the area. The beautiful old Abbey Town of Charroux is 8 Kms distant and we are within half an hour of Civray, Ruffec & Confolens.

In the living room you will find the table where you can savor the dishes cooked in the equipped kitchen located next door. Check-in to the listing is scheduled after 2 p.m. and checkout is scheduled for the morning at 11 a.m. at the latest so that cleaning can be done. 17th century manor overlooking the Charente

Hidden in a green setting, the Pavilion is an old 17th century lordship overlooking the Charente river. Surrounded by one hectare of wooded garden, you will benefit of a large swimming pool and a nordic bath. Completely renovated in 2023, we have preserved the authenticity and character of this place steeped in history. Its large openings provide this home very bright spaces with breathtaking views of the entire valley and its river.

The beautifully restored gite lies in the heart of the country but is close to the lovely historic village of Verteuil, one of the prettiest in Charente, dominated by a magnificent chateau with restaurants, wine cellar, and a small Sunday market.
