It is a great property, simply decorated and yet with everything you need. The house is spacious, its three rooms have good bathrooms and comfortable beds and the AC works well (only in the three rooms, not in the common areas, which is a bit tough on hot days). The house is off the beaten track and at the same time only 4 minutes away from a beautiful beach and 100m away from a convenience store. We had a great time and would happily recommend this unique house in Holbox!

An Unforgettable Experience! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful house hosted by Sonia and Rene, and I can honestly say that this was one of the best travel experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Sonia, Rene and their exceptional staff, who went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. The property itself is stunning. It is beautifully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style. Every room was immaculate and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. The location was ideal, offering breathtaking views and easy access to local attractions. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Rene and Sonia for being such wonderful hosts. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made our stay truly special. They were always available to provide suggestions and recommendations for our trip. And a special thank you to our Chef Rangel by far best chef I’ve had in all my trips.

Everything was very good from before we reached our exit, the very nice depa, close to several places and the beach. Just to mention some point of opportunity the sofa in the living room is already overdue and something dirty yet nothing that usually affects.

We visited Isla Holbox about few months back and stayed at a nearby hotel. It was our favorite part of the island. We were so excited when we found this villa literally 1 block away from the same hotel we stayed at. It was almost like we stayed at our favorite hotel again, but this time in an immaculate villa. Our favorite thing to do during the day is lounge on the beach- there are many nearby beach clubs just steps away from the villa that you can stay at all day with a minimum consumption price per person. So so convenient. Gabriela our host was absolutely amazing!! She did not hesitate to help us anytime we needed and she got things done with a snap of the finger. We asked to rent bikes- they arrived to the villa within minutes. Since time was of the essence to make our flight home, she even booked us a private boat for 2 people to head back to Chuiqila that only cost a little bit more than 2 tickets on the ferry. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again.

The Casa Giraluna was a great place that met our needs completely. Its an artsy pirate home and as a single woman travelling with two kids and a dog its was excellent. Its durable, comfortable, safe, fairly private and had all the amenities needed aside from A/C and laundry. However, there were fans, a lot of windows and a great breeze that was very comfortable regardless. The lagoon is beautiful to bird watch and catch the golden hours. The rooftop is a cool feature too! The kids loved the unique artsy features of the place, it feels like a beachy pirate home! I arrived very sunstroked and tired from our travels and Carlos was very kind and welcoming, I appreciate the hospitality! All in all it was great and comfy. My only draw back was that the smell of the lagoon occasionally wafted in which was potent but expected. As well a few mosquitoes! If you are prepared mentally for an authentic jungle stay (bring a little bug spray) this place is awesome. 🤩

We absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment itself was clean and modern. The outside area with private pool was bigger and more luxurious than imagined (with spectacular views over the beach) We were appointed a personal concierge (the lovely Karina) - she was so helpful and friendly during our stay. Specifically she helped organise taxis and provided lots of recommendations. She even babysat our kids one night so me and my husband could enjoy an evening out! Unluckily there had been some flooding in the area just before we arrived, which made some of the nearby roads inaccessible. However, Karina helped organise taxis for us and we were also able to walk along the lovely beachfront. Next time we are in Holbox, we will be choosing to stay here!

I stayed with my family at Casa Calma in Holbox and had a wonderful experience. The place was exactly as described — private, peaceful, and truly felt like home. The pool was a great bonus; the water was warm and perfect for relaxing. My daughter especially loved our time there, which made the stay even more special. It offered great value for the price, and we felt comfortable and relaxed throughout. I would highly recommend Casa Calma to anyone looking for a serene getaway, and I will definitely be coming back!

Peru's place had everything you need for a great stay in Holbox. The tiny house had a great shower and little living space, with a really nice private outdoors spot, including a shared pool. The location was peaceful though still very close to the beach and a fair few beach clubs. You can either walk to the town centre in around 20/25 minutes or get a taxi for 200 pesos which was very easy. Peru was very quick to respond and help with any queries and issues we had.
