Important to know: The sleeping area is upstairs and can only be reached by quite steep and narrow stairs - guests should feel comfortable climbing up!

This house became famous in 1976 when the famous actress Elisabeth Flickenschildt wanted to realize her dream as a farmer in the countryside here, but died in 1977.

Especially in the flowering season, it is ideal for extensive cycling tours along the fruit trees. The nearby Elbe also creates a maritime flair.

Welcome to Altes Land, Germany's largest fruit growing area with its numerous orchards. Here you can relax wonderfully, especially cycling through apple orchards or to the nearby Elbe. For shopping, we recommend the Hanseatic city of Hamburg (about 45 minutes by car) or the cozy cities of Stade (20 minutes) and Buxtehude (12 minutes). Our property is located on the outskirts of Hamburg, close to the Elbe incl. Welcome courtyard and the Klövensteen. The S-Bahn is within walking distance in approx. 10 minutes. The apartment is located on the upper floor of a two-family house. It is centrally located but also in a quiet location of Harsefeld. The size is about 110 square meters, where up to 4 people can really feel comfortable :o) The proximity to Buxtehude (17 km), Stade (22 km) and Hamburg (30 - 80 km) and also accessible by train, is for many guests the reason to book our apartment at reasonable prices.

The apartment is on the 1st floor and has a large loggia overlooking the garden and the apple orchards in the Altes Land. From the loggia you can follow the big ships that sail to Hamburg or towards the North Sea. In addition to a bedroom, the apartment has a kitchen / living area and a fully equipped bathroom. A washing machine and dryer can be used for a fee. Wi-Fi and parking space are included.

Cycling between the Altes Land and Hamburg

With a great passion for mid-century style and bicycles of all kinds, we have decorated our 1970s bungalow. From here you can easily explore and experience the old country with Hamburg, but also Buxtehude, Stade and the Elbe up to Cuxhaven. But of course, the house is just as suitable as a temporary home office (Airbus near Stade + Finkenwerder) or for just a relaxing time out in the countryside.
