Ikusa Village, a small farming village in the middle of Nagano Prefecture. I moved from Tokyo a few years ago and started a private inn using a separate building from the main house. The entire building is rented out to one group per night. Pets are also welcome. We do not provide meals, but the kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, so please feel free to use it, just bring your own ingredients. There is a shower room, but no bathtub. Also, during the winter season from December to March, the shower room is closed to prevent freezing. Please use the nearby hot spring facilities. We do not provide toothbrushes or razors, so please bring your own. Wi-Fi and parking are available. The main house next door is an old house built about 150 years ago. My husband and I live here while renovating little by little. I want to drink while baking something in the hearth! You can also experience the old private house, so please feel free to ask. We have two dogs and a bunch of cats. If you have allergies, please be careful. The toilets are handmade flush toilets and compost toilets. We do not use synthetic detergents, deodorants, insecticides, etc. on the premises.

The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, which opened on April 15th, features the "Snow Valley Walk", where you can walk on a wall of snow over ten metres high. During the day, you can explore the overwhelming nature, and at night, you can return to the tranquility of the countryside. Time to warm up in the sauna, have a BBQ with friends, and look up at the stars. For small groups, you can enjoy the terrace, and for groups of up to 12 people, you can relax on the premises. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

Recommended for families, couples and small groups. This area is rich in history and nature. Suwa Taisha Shrine, hot springs, Nakasendo. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.

The unique experience at the former Japanese traditional Kimono shop(about 97years old house). This family-friendly and the newly renovated house is located in the very traditional district and the calm but convenience area in Nagano city. The house is authentic and unique as it was a traditional Japanese clothing (Kimono) shop before. You would feel like your own home away from home. 5 minutes walk to the Zenkoji temple and 4 minutes to the bus stop for Togakushi national park.
