Cottage holiday rentals in Île-d'Aix

We booked Maddy‘s place very last minute. She was very amicable and got the place ready quickly for us! The upstairs mezzanine was perfect t for ours kids. Maddy and her family were so friendly and helpful. We would definitely visit again if we’re passing through. The house was perfect for two adults three children and a dog. Our children are aged 8, 10 and 12 and we enjoyed cycling out to the local town and playing by the swimming pool. The kids loved feeding the goat, there were chickens too. They loved the owners dog too! We visited Royan, it’s approx 30 minutes drive. I would throughly recommend this place!

Louise and Mickael hosted us very well, with a bottle of white wine and cold beers! Very much appreciated! We had a pleasant week's vacation at Moulin Chaillou. We were able to enjoy the pool, which the children loved (4 years and 1 year). All shops are nearby, the beach is 45 minutes away, as well as the aquarium, etc. If needed, don't hesitate, Louise and Mickael are there to meet your needs.

A unique and endearing holiday village for young and old.

Virginia is a very welcoming host and available for any requests. the accommodation matched the photos and very quiet.. it is very cozy!! the optional breakfast is very hearty. the shared pool and sauna spa area are a plus for this accommodation . ideally placed place to discover the region.. I highly recommend it

We had a great time. The accommodation is close to nice points of interest such as the arsenal of the Rochefort Sea, Fouras and its daily market and La Rochelle. The pool is great for the kids.

Very nice large house with a large wooded garden. Close to the sea, bike paths and all amenities. The beaches are very beautiful with a wild side, there are even natural pools, it's perfect for children. Great for a family vacation! We received a very nice welcome, Simon and Ludivine are very friendly and available! We'll be happy to go back!

We spent 2 very pleasant weeks with our 4-year-old daughter. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable, the covered terrace is very nice. The indoor pool is a real plus. The residence is close to all amenities and especially the market. We could have gone mostly by bike. We recommend this accommodation without hesitation.

Very beautiful house. Very nice! There is a lot in the kitchen and Melanie is right next door if needed! Melanie has prepared a book with all the activities / info to have that is very well done! A country home! The garden is perfectly enclosed, it was perfect with our dogs!

Great stay as a whole family at Corinne's . Comfortable bedding,very nice night spaces. Very nice outside space. In rainy weather the table inside is a little fair , we were missing the hot tub but indeed the weather did not lend itself to it Corine is a charming and very friendly host I recommend

A really lovely comfortable gite. Amazing outdoor space including a safe pool with loads to entertain the kids. And lots nearby to do for young and old. We really enjoyed it with our two young ones.

Great stay. Self check-in. Everything was spotless, a small basket with eggs and tomatoes was waiting for us, thank you for the attention. Very well appointed studio, super comfortable sofa bed. Convenient air conditioning. Bathroom niquel. The garden has much more to our 2 dogs and we had the pleasure of meeting the donkey upon arrival. We stayed 3 nights and were able to visit the area. (Car required) The surroundings are superb and wild for a good walk with the dogs. I recommend if you want tranquility while being quite close to oléron.

Very satisfied with my stay mainly based on the seaside walk with my two dogs accommodation near the beach I couldn't have hoped for better we would have spent our days there. Very decent accommodation in a quiet place and very good welcome upon arrival I highly recommend this place personally I will come back again thank you for accepting our 4 paws

Colleen and Keith are super hosts, very responsive and close by. The house was as expected and situated near lovely small villages and picturesque towns.

Linda is a very welcoming and very friendly host, who welcomes you with a big smile! Very available and discreet at the same time, we really had a great time! The little restaurants in the area are great and very affordable! The most pleasant thing is to be able to take walks along the canal in the shade, it's very quiet and relaxing. Alexis and Marine are very welcoming hosts... we were in a very quiet place. The place and location are really nice, great for relaxing and enjoying. Perfect location to discover other places ( La Rochelle 40min, 20min from Fouras, 40min from Île Madame, 1h from Amnéville Zoo etc.)

Very good stay at Guillemette's. We were 4 people with a 2 year old baby. The house is very spacious, very functional, bright, clean. A very quiet place on the edge of forest surrounded by cats, chickens and dogs. The place with the house is peaceful. Rest assured. It was a very pleasant stay at Guillemette's which is very pleasant. I would highly recommend for a vacation with friends and/or family with or without children.

We had a fantastic stay and will most definitely be returning next year! The gite was beautifully presented and had everything we needed. We had so much space and privacy. The best nights sleep will be had here, I guarantee you. The pool was beautiful. Great temperature for the time of year and an ideal size to get your daily exercise in. If you have kids it’s perfect for their entertainment. The gite is very spacious and has some really special touches. Keely went the extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect and would respond very quickly to any questions we had. She also had some fantastic recommendations. Be sure to ask for restaurant recommendations because we had some fantastic food. The location is ideal, just what you want when visiting France. Very authentic and the people are very friendly. The perfect stay in France. We will definitely stay longer next time.

Great family stay in the growing forest. The village is very well located to discover the region (which was our case). Bertrand is a particularly welcoming host who gave us lots of tips /tips to visit, while having a great knowledge of the region and its history. He was also very accommodating. The accommodation is perfectly as described, with many small touches for children, who have appreciated them. Best stay.
