Uncle Clyde’s Cabin

Bring the family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Great year round, whole house AC in the summer, heat and fireplace in the winter. Outdoor swings around a huge firepit. Steps to the lake. Fishing! Water rights, the boat ramp is one house away. Ten minutes to Havana for restaurants, shopping, river access. Dixon Mounds is 20 minutes north. Forty-five minutes from Peoria and one hour from Springfield. The sunsets and the peace and quiet are worth the stay. Pets are allowed, $75.

Guests often hear the creek's flowing water from the front porch swing. This 1600 square foot home includes a full kitchen with complimentary coffee and tea. The patio has a gas fire pit and the backyard has a Tiki smokeless fire pit with free firewood. Hammocks and bicycles for guest use. 50 meg Wifi. Make yourself at home!

Enjoy the country life in rural Greene Co in our cabin located on our farm. A great getaway spot! Features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining, living room, laundry, porch and fire pit. Look out over the field for a beautiful sunrise. On a clear night, the stars are amazing! Enjoy nature and take a walk along our creek. Spend some time in our little town at our local shops and restaurants.... We live in the country between Carrollton and Jerseyville. (There is no WiFi.)
