Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ilmenau

Our accommodation was very comfortable and the location was great for visiting many interesting places. We enjoyed the garden and trees and the rural setting. Apolda itself was an unexpected bonus, as was our very friendly hostess Erika.

I highly recommend! Check in was easy, the apartment was spot on and location was in a great spot on.

We had a lovely and relaxing holiday in the apartment of Olaf and Nicole. Both welcomed us very warmly. The apartment is quiet and close to different excursion destinations. If you like hiking, this is the place to be, because the forest begins almost on the doorstep and thus also several hiking trails. The apartment is lovingly furnished, has a great garden and has everything you need. There were two of us traveling with a dog and would come back any time.

Katja's apartment absolutely met my expectations. During our weekend, we found it to be an oasis of tranquility where you could completely leave the outside world behind. The spacious living area invites you to cook and play together and the sleeping options were comfortable and cozy. The highlight was definitely the hot tub, which we were allowed to use in January at an outside temperature of 0°C. A hike on the Ettersberg rounded off our weekend and many Weimar restaurants deliver their food to Gaberndorf. A great, modern apartment with friendly hosts that we will definitely book again! :)

We were totally delighted with the accommodation! The location is great - beautiful in the countryside and completely quiet and peaceful. Maria and her family were very friendly, and helpful. The terrace is completely fenced, so we were able to park our dog there well. The occasional barking was also friendly by the hosts. And then the sauna and the hot pot - there are no wishes left unfulfilled!

Susann's apartment is really right in the heart of Weimar. You can easily walk to all the sights. The decor of the apartment is charming and the balcony is wonderful for breakfast in the sun. At night, it can be louder outside on the street with the window open, but the apartment is also totally central and close to cafes or restaurants. The bakery across the street has super good rolls and tin cake! Susann is very hospitable and we will be happy to come back to her if it attracts us back to Weimar!

Everything was as described. Beautiful large and quiet apartment near Weimar, all destinations and sights easily accessible.

Super great place - we would definitely come back if we are in Weimar again. On foot a nice walk to the center(about 15 min), quietly located, have breakfast beautifully undisturbed on the terrace in the sun. Also equipped 1A; even with extras such as slippers (is also quite cold foot), various Playing and books, hot water bottle, coffee grinder & milk frother, tea, spices, etc.

It was very cozy and we felt right at home. Enough space to sleep, but also to sit and spend time together. Communication with Alicia was straightforward, very friendly and accommodating. We felt completely comfortable and would recommend the lovingly designed accommodation at any time.

i have never been able to live in something beautiful, indescribably romantic, located in such a beautiful area! An unspeakably fantastic neighborhood! The hosts were touching, the tower room is nothing to beat....thank you!

Sabine made our Christmas in Germany unforgettable. From the start, she welcomed us with warmth, kindness, and incredible attention to detail. She thoughtfully assigned rooms for our large group and arranged the furniture to ensure everyone felt comfortable and at home. Even though we arrived early, Sabine greeted us with her son, giving us a warm, heartfelt welcome. She provided a detailed tour of the house, patiently explaining everything and answering our questions. To make our holiday special, Sabine decorated every room with glowing Christmas decorations and left thoughtful treats—candy, beer, and wine. Her generosity brought tears to my eyes, and we began our trip with laughter, hugs, and a deep sense of care. Meeting Sabine and her son was the highlight of our trip. We’re so grateful for her thoughtfulness, warmth, and the love she put into making our holiday so memorable.

My grandparents enjoyed their stay here very much! They felt comfortable from the start as the place was clean, cozy and exactly as described. Christine was extremely friendly and helpful, and check-in went smoothly. The location was perfect for them. They still rave about the beautiful days there and were completely satisfied. We spent an extended weekend in Mühlhausen. Since we are always looking for something with our little dog with a garden and dog-friendly environment, the city apartments caught our eye, as this was exactly what was visible in the pictures. Our expectations were exceeded. All super accommodating and friendly and in the middle of the city still having such a great garden is very nice. Clear recommendation and if we are around again, we will also choose the Burkhard family again.

Constanze and André are super nice and very communicative hosts. They had many tips for us and were always accessible for questions. We (a family of 4 with teenage children) felt very comfortable in the house and garden, with barbecue, fireplace, pool, playground, trampoline, bicycles and the cat. The location was optimal for us: With the bikes we were in the old town of Weimar in 10 minutes, on the other hand you could also walk directly over the field to the Ilm or ride a bike on the Ilm bike path. A supermarket with a bakery is within walking distance. We will be happy to come back!

We stayed with our dog in the lodging of Jana. There was already a dog bed and a filled water bowl at check-in. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need, additional costs are only the parking lot, which is very fair in terms of price. The house is an old building, so it can happen every now and then that you hear someone walking from time to time, but did not bother us. We didn't use the pool, but it also looks good. We would come back.
