You have a private sleeping room and just beside your bathroom. Enjoy direct access to the wintergarden to do some work or eat something. Country house idyll in the immediate vicinity of the city. In a 300-year-old Bernese farmhouse, we have set up a guest room with an extra dose of charm for you. The modern room has a separate entrance via the old arbor staircase - you should be good on foot. A 160 cm solid wood bed and a comfortable sofa bed offer you a restful sleep - baby bed on request. Direct access to your own modern toilet with shower. No kitchen. We are also happy to try to meet special requests.

We rent our very small studio (13 sqm) with private entrance for one or two people. WE DO NOT OFFER BREAKFAST. The bed (140 x 200 cm) can be transformed into a sofa in no time with a handle. Wi-Fi, a writing desk, a TV and a terrace seat are available. A private shower/toilet, bed linen with terry towels, hair dryer and hair shampoo are provided. There is a simple and well-equipped kitchen with fridge, kettle and coffee machine.

Gadestatt is a traditional Maiensäss. A Maiensäss is a cultural peculiarity of Swiss history. These simple but beautiful wooden buildings used to be inhabited on the Alps during the summer. From here the cows were guarded and cheese was made from fresh milk. Gadestatt offers you an authentic overnight accommodation with lots of charm and attention to detail.

Our house is quietly and idyllically located on the edge of a forest at the foot of the Lindenberg. The two guest rooms with two beds each, shower/toilet, lounge, balcony are in the new building and thus have their own entrance. Hohenrain is located between Lucerne and Lenzburg and between Sursee and Cham/Zug.
