Perfect base from which to explore Etna, Taormina, Siracusa/Ortigia & Catania. Stunning vistas from the balcony. Friendly helpful locals, plentiful restaurants, many with original (from scratch) Italian home cooking on offer, at reasonable prices. Airbnb spotless, well equipped, generous coffee available & the hidden extras (such as condiments, cling film, laundry detergent) made all the difference. Host’s father, Mario, is an absolute gentleman; waited for us, even though we were running late, showed us around & how everything works & pointed us towards some great restaurants/ places of interest. We had a great time on your apartment- would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a high quality retreat. The apartment is located in walking distance to down town aci Trezza and has an amazing view of the ocean. It was great to have private parking as we wouldn’t have felt too comfortable having the rental car on the side of the road. Niky was fast to respond if we had any questions regarding the apartment or the area. One thing we would recommend is having firewood for the indoor fireplace at hand for future visitors- as spending time looking for right kind of firewood could have been avoided.
