Iizuna, and if you go a little further, you can climb Mt. Togakushi and Mt. Kurohime. Oza Hossi Pond, where you can have a forest adventure, Nojiri Lake, where you can do water activities, and Zenkoji Temple are all within 20 minutes by car. In winter, you can go to the ski slopes right in front of you. All five ski resorts in northern Shinshu can be accessed within 30 minutes.
