Villa holiday rentals in Jamtland County

Villa Fyrklövern was spacious enough for us three families with children to enjoy the sports holiday week in lovely Järvsö. The fact that the house is a few minutes drive between Järvsöbacken north and south made the stay both practical and cozy. A few minutes walk to Ica was also not wrong if something needed to be completed for dinner. The sauna went hot we can promise. I can highly recommend Villa Fyrklövern for the larger family or group of friends who want to enjoy everything that Järvsö has to offer.

We stayed a week at Stefan's house. It was clean, comfortable and everything you needed was in the house. Very nice view from kitchen and living room. We saw three moose one morning below the house. The windshield with a fire pit was appreciated by the children. The beds were comfortable. Ski and sledding hill within short car distance. We visited Jamtli, the winter park and pumps on Storsjön. Can really recommend Stefan's house. Would love to come back.

Nice location with only a few minutes drive into Østersund Sentrum. Nice hiking area and opportunities to fish down by the jetty that is nearby. A hospitable and pleasant host who responded quickly to inquiries.

Incredibly nice house in a great location! Really child-friendly, so would highly recommend for families with children.

Very cozy house with large social area. Fitted us with two kids perfectly. Nice with separate TV room in the loft. Lovely well equipped kitchen. We spent the days in Åre or Trillevallen and then the house is perfect.

We stayed there for two months early 2024 and had an absolutely amazing time. The home is spartanly decorated with no TV or dishwasher but the price matched expectations and all the conditions were honestly described. We arrived at made beds which was a great bonus that we had not counted on. Both Robin and Signe are absolutely great to deal with. Very professional, friendly and helpful. We felt very safe and well taken care of. We'd love to come back in the future :)

We had a wonderful week in Åre. We were looking for a real winter - we got it. In addition to that we enjoyed the wonderful house, the stunning view and the comfort and high quality equipment the house has to offer. We felt very comfortable there. Henrik was an excellent host. Always reachable, he helped where questions were and he knew where to go and where ro buy stuff. Surely it feels like a „need-to-come-back-stay“. Thank you so much.

Few places can accommodate two families of five people each. This house has great spots for sleeping for all of us, and the kids were very happy about their own space downstairs. The dining table easily sits ten as well.

Annelie was a perfect hostess, happy, nice and helpful. The house is very nice with forest on one side and beautiful views of Ljusnan and mountains on the other side. Everything was in good condition, clean and cosily furnished. A perfect place for peaceful mornings with the fire going and some billiards with the kids. After the ski slope, it was just as lovely with the fireplace, music and nice hanging on the sofa. Highly recommended!

We spent a full week in Cecilia's and Sebastian's house and enjoyed every minute here! Our kids (14 and 17 years old) liked the trampoline and the possibility to easily go for a swim in the nearby lake. The terrace is vast and well equipped. The view from the dining table is fantastic and each of us also liked the cosy places inside the house where you can read etc. We would love to come back here sometime!

The house is modern, open, bright and clean with lots of amenities. It was great for both adults, big and small children. The playroom inside helped with the smallest, and the outdoor area had facilities for both children, youth and adults. Perfect location, rural but only 15 min into town. The forest was like a backdrop behind the house, while the front was open and provided a good view to the sea and the sunset. Host communication was impeccable with quick responses.

Lovely stay in Anders nice, cozy and well designed cabin. Large, beautifully located and nicely designed. We were four families, a total of 15 people. Had some crazy good days with a lot of snow. Great site for accommodation and dinner/socializing. Did skis in Duved/Tegefjäll (20 min away), Storlien (20 min away) and Meråker (45 min away). In addition, cross-country skiing directly from the corner of the house. Great starting point for mountain adventures. Everything one needs is available. In addition, good and nice treatment from Anders.

Firstly, our host was excellent! Very responsive and she gave us loads of fantastic recommendations for places to eat, swim, walk, and more. Secondly, the house itself is stunning and very well equipped. The images are lovely, but they do not do the property justice. The attention to detail on the decor was incredible. It felt so cosy and homely, while being beautifully styled in every single room. Little details like the lighting in each space made the house so cosy at night. We didn't want to leave! FYI - They are building a Sauna. The location is also fantastic, with a view over the river and woodlands. During our stay, we saw Roe deer and what we believe was a Golden Eagle soaring over the river. For us it was perfect for our ski trip, as it was close enough to town to drive, whilst feeling secluded and surrounded by nature at the same time. If you are considering multiple accommodation options in the area, stay here! You won't be disappointed.

A very nice and orderly place with plenty of room for a larger group, with room for cooking and socializing but also space to retreat. Very beautiful surroundings and very much to do in Järvsö and Hälsingland. We have had great days with three generations of family over Christmas and New Year and are very happy and satisfied. Nice and quick communication with Alex and Disa. A nice atmosphere prevails in the houses and everything you need is also available for a slightly longer stay.
