We loved staying in this spacious, beautifully decorated apartment in a very quiet but central location with lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Hilgrid is a great host, responsive, accommodating our need for early checkin and providing useful information about the local environment. We are looking forward to coming back!

Barbara’s apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. Upon arrival, we found the space impeccably clean and even more charming than depicted in the photos. Barbara was an exceptional host, providing clear instructions and being readily available for any questions, which made our stay seamless. The location is ideal, with a grocery store nearby and the city center just a pleasant 30-minute walk away. The kitchen is well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease. We also enjoyed the collection of art books and the stunning photograph adorning the wall, which added a unique touch to the ambiance. The pricing was reasonable, offering great value for the quality and experience provided. If we could suggest one improvement, it would be to offer a weekly cleaning service for longer stays. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Barbara’s apartment to anyone visiting Düsseldorf.

My husband and son stayed at the apartment for the weekend of October 26. They give the apartment a 5 star rating. The apartment was exactly as described and pictured in Airbnb. The host was terrific -- great communication. The surrounding neighborhood was a pleasant, well-populated section of Dusseldorf with plenty of places to eat, drink, and socialize. It is within walking distance of "city center". If walking isn't your thing, the tram is nearby, the train is nearby, and every corner has access to some form of pay-as-you-go e-scooters. One thing to keep in mind: if you have a heavy bag or bags, you will be facing a several story climb.
