Great place and Nina is a great host! Such a perfect place for a quiet retreat

We were fortunate to spend several months at the Waterside Home with our two children and our dog during our house renovation and couldn’t have asked for a more charming and peaceful spot. Jonathan is a wonderful host and was always responsive. Pictures cannot begin to do justice to the spectacular landscaping, the mature trees and paths carved through cultivated wildflower meadows. We loved playing tennis and pickleball with our kids. While given privacy, we all appreciated the well-cherished grounds. Inside, there was plenty of room to accommodate our family. It’s well-furnished, charming and functional and very much like a home rather than a rental house. The kitchen has everthing we needed. The primary suite in particular is lovely and large with stunning views over the reservoir. Last, the location is perfect within a few easy minutes of Katonah’s cute shops and restaurants and near 684 yet completely quiet, secure and tranquil. Thank you Jonathan for a perfect stay!

Jonny's place is wonderful: comfortable, clean, and close to Bedford town. There's an attention to detail that's impressive: luxurious bedding, copper pots in the kitchen, a robe in the bathroom, extra sheets and blankets. While we didn't cook, the kitchen is well stocked if one wanted to make a meal. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast in the living room area and appreciated the short walk to our favorite spots in town. We slept well; the place is well heated in the winter and quiet. Jonny is a thoughtful and responsive host, and we hope to return soon! Thank you, Jonny.

We had a great four-night stay at the Cottage. It's a huge space with a rustic feel, but with all the conveniences you need. We ate most meals in the breakfast nook that had gorgeous views from windows on three sides. If our days hadn't been so busy, we would have taken the time to have a fire in the fireplace. Maybe you'll have time! The king bed is comfortable if you like a soft mattress, but the big surprise was the sofa bed. If you want a firmer mattress, give it a try. It's the size of a queen bed and has no middle bar to stick you -- it's so comfortable! Emily was responsive when I asked about an item I couldn't find, and she also tried to fix a problem with the downstairs television. It couldn't be fixed during our stay, but I'm sure she'll have it up and running for yours. Ours was a very peaceful stay (even the resident rooster waited until the afternoon to crow!) and in the last few hours, we watched a hawk hunting breakfast in the back yard. It was hard to leave!
