Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kentish Council

There is nothing about Secret Little Eden to find fault with. The house is beautiful and private, with so many interesting and fun things to keep you occupied. Loads of music, books and DVDs to make use of, the wonderful spa under the stars, even musical instruments to have a play with if you’re so inclined. Regrettably we only had one night at Dom’s place on our way through but if we ever find ourselves in the neighbourhood this will be our must stay location. Such a friendly and welcoming host, not to mention all the beautiful animals we got to meet as well. Th Al you again Dom, we sincerely hope to see you again sometime.

Excellent place to stay if you don’t want to have to share your mountain experience with other holiday makers - just a short drive to Cradle and great facilities for catering yourself.. could have stayed a week!

The house is very specious - perfect for a group of 5 people - and only an hour away from cradle mountain. My friends and I had a pleasant stay there! However, it would have been better if more spare tissues were provided, as we spent 2 nights there and found less than half a roll left when we first arrived at the house.

What a beautiful spot in the countryside. Beautiful gardens and farm surrounding the farmhouse. Spacious room and lots of indoor and outdoor space to spread out or gather in a group. Perfectly located 15 mins from Devonport - such a great spot to explore so many beautiful towns and attractions. Great accom for a group.

A very peaceful spot with an incredible view. Birds and ducks visit the water holes and there are fruit, veggies and eggs available. We very much appreciated the breakfast goodies. It was a delight to stay here!

Cannot say enough about Cacia and her hospitality! My wife and i found ourselves in a situation where we needed some accommodation at the very last minute and a long way from home. Cacia came through with the goods! A very clean and well laid out place, super comfy bed, huge double shower and a host that went above and beyond. Pleasantly surprised and will definitely stay again! Thank you!

Rose-Marie was a wonder host. She was very responsive throughout the booking process and our stay. She has a lovely property in a very peaceful and idyllic place, halfway between Launceston and Cradle mountain. The unit is spacious and has everything you need, as shown in the pictures. During our stay we spent long days outdoor hiking so we didn’t have the pleasure of exploring the property and chatting with Rose-Marie until our final morning. She is a lovely host and we definitely recommend staying at her property!

Sheffield is a very beautiful little town. Neale was fantastically responsive. Very flexible. Location was great. Walked everywhere! 2 doors down from the pub with great meals and close to all the shops, cafes and restaurants. The view from our window of Mt Roland, rolling hills, dairy farms was beautiful and the sunset was to die for! I also had a mishap and made a bit of a mess in bathroom by accident - I sent photos and said I’d pay for any costs associated. Neale was so understanding to life’s mishaps and asked me to just pay it forward in an act of kindness to someone else on my travels. Could not recommend this Accommodation more in that town than any other we saw. Thanks Neale 🙏

The space was really comfortable and clean with all the necessary amenities available. It was also walking distance to the main street so everything was super convenient. We appreciate the little welcome gifts prepared by the host and check-in was smooth and seamless. Wished we had the chance to stay longer in Sheffield so that we can do a bbq and enjoy the space a bit longer. Highly recommend True Blue to anyone who is visiting Sheffield!

Cacia place was lovely to stay at. Traveling on the day time cruise on the Spirit of Tasmania and arriving at night, this place was just a 30 minute drive from the Devonport Ferry Terminal. The place is super clean and neat, newly build with new fixtures and fittings. There is plenty of amenities provided and didn’t feel anything missing need for normal use. The room is very spaces, with one big private concealed private next to the accommodation. Cacia was very communicative and easy to talk to and was extremely friendly and helpful. For sure will come back and stay here during our next visit.

Neale and Annette’s unit was a wonderful little gem. Perfectly located, it meant that we were able to easily drive to Cradle Mountain for a day, as well as explore the local cafes and restaurants in lovely Sheffield. The unit contained all the amenities we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
