Treat yourself to a visit to our half-timbered house Anno 1690, renovated in 2019, in the very quiet old town of Stromberg, right by the Schlossbrunnen fountain below the 3 castles. The kitchen on the 2nd floor is excitingly located in the former battlement of the city wall. The medieval building still has the typical steep oak stairs and the ceiling height is outside the norm. Cozy stay in the house and as a starting point for hikers & bikers....for relaxation and adventure...

The apartment consists of two bedrooms with three beds, for 4 people, a large living-dining area with open kitchen and a very nice, spacious conservatory. Linens and towels are included in the rental price. There is also a small room with a washing machine and ironing board, which can be used free of charge.

Enjoy your own hideaway with a large sun terrace, the old half-timbered but modern facilities. The house is at the narrowest point of Starkenburg, so that you can enjoy the distant view towards the Mosel river and the beautiful Ahringstal. Our wooden house (on the outskirts) offers peace and relaxation over 110 m². The terraces, a large balcony and a beautiful garden guarantee you relaxing hours. From here, you can start hiking, cycling and sightseeing tours. The Hunsrück offers endless beautiful excursion destinations. Mosel and Rhine are very close. Trier, Mainz, Koblenz, Cochem, as well as the German gem city of Idar-Oberstein, to name a few examples, are also in the vicinity.

In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.

It is located on the B41 and has a unique view of the Stiftskirche St. Johannisberg. The house has a spacious terrace that invites you to linger in fine weather.
