The "chicken house"

The chicken house is located in the middle of the beautiful permagar, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhupten. Gabi and Guido live here their dream of independence and want to expand the farm in a sustainable and tedious way. For example, the walls and ceiling of the chicken house have been made from the more than 200-year-old floorboards of the main house. The holiday apartment is located below the village of Amden. The peasant family also lives in the same house. During the hay harvest or other work, there may therefore be some noise (milking machine, hay ventilation) or there are odor emissions (slurry). But we do our best and take this into account as far as possible. We have cats, dogs and chickens, the goats and cows are from June-September on Alp. We sell organic milk and eggs. Dogs are allowed, just book with us, costs 30 Fr.

The large living and dining area is characterized by a very large ceiling height and a lot of air (4.20 m height), the fully glazed barn gate brings light into the room. Beautiful apartment 1 in new wooden house 100m to the lake

Run to the lake in bathing suits in the morning and swim for a small round, then enjoy breakfast in the sunshine on the terrace and then spend the day in the beach pool 2 minutes away. In the evening stroll into the beautiful old town of Überlingen and then end the evening on the terrace. Either way, it could look like a holiday in our holiday apartment on Lake Constance.
