Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Small, very cozy room, with an area of 12 m², ideal for couples. It features a private terrace overlooking the bamboo grove. A complete renovation was carried out in the spring of 2025. Equipment: 1 bed of 140 cm, TV, reversible air conditioning, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster. Pet stay to be paid on site: €5/day (not suitable for dogs over 15 kg). Options available on site: breakfast (€8.50), end-of-stay cleaning (€60.00).
