Corralejo and El Cotillo with wonderful beaches can be reached in 15-20min by car. Villaverde in the north of Fuerteventura can be reached from the airport in about 30min. There is a bus stop nearby, but a car is definitely recommended. In the distance you can see the sea at Corralejo as well as Lanzarote.
