Cottage holiday rentals in Lake Jackson

We had a great time staying here! The location is perfect—just a short walk to nearby shops, restaurants, and the beach. Everything was beautifully set up and very clean when we arrived. The host was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth from start to finish. There was plenty of space for our group, and the amenities were fantastic. We had so much fun and would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed at Tammy's place with our 2 grandsons. It is a lovely place. The house was spotless and in a great location. Our grandsons spent so much time on the beach which is just steps away from the house. My husband and I could sit on the covered porch and watch them dig for hours. Of course, we were right there with them when they wanted to go boogie boarding (3 boards available at the house). The house was well stocked with dishes, glasses and pots. Tammy gave us recommendations on where to grocery shop and even a nice restaurant down the road. If I had a question, she was very responsive and answered quickly. The hot tub was an added bonus which we all enjoyed at night. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We certainly hope to be able to visit again. Thank you!

The property is beautiful… there is a view from every window and balcony. You can see the ocean and the bay… unique for Galveston Island. There is a pond directly outside and with the fountain, which kept mosquitos away. The kitchen is good for entertaining a family, and there is a formal and outdoor dining area. I would suggest bringing a bed pillow, high quality pan, and extra roll of paper towels. Alex was nice and responsive. The resort is family oriented and the quiet was well worth the 20 minute drive. We will stay with this host again!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The house is perfect for a family beach trip and Antonio was an excellent host - great communication with all the details needed up front. The ADA beach access was very close and easier to navigate with a wagon than others we’ve used. The place has comfy furnishings and we felt right at home! Specifically, the sofa, beds and linens nice and blackout curtains. We found everything we needed at the cottage: Everything needed for the resort pools and beach (adult and kid beach towels, sand toys, beach chairs, wagon, outdoor shower, etc.). Kitchen: a variety of skillets, pots, and pans, baking sheets, cooking utensils, cups, nice dual coffee machine for k-cup or a whole drip pot. Bathrooms: tidy and stocked with towels, travel toiletries, makeup removal wash cloths Bonus: toys and books for kids, TVs (bunk room, living room, downstairs patio), first aid kit, washer/dryer and deck/rocking chairs to watch the herons and turtles in the lagoon!

My family and I had a great stay. Every picture and everything listed were very accurate. Geat space and lots of sleeping accommodations.

Just what I needed for a last-minute get away.. a small house with the necessities. I was happy about the size because of my back injury; I can barely move or stand, so short distances were helpful. It was close by to all things that I needed to access! I did bring my two pups, and it was great for them. I had to observe them in the backyard because the fencing wasn’t super secure, but this was okay, as my dogs do not try to escape. This is a pet friendly stay, and there may be traces of dog hair, as there were some when I arrived. This did not deter me AT ALL, and the house was not unkempt by any means! Just something to keep in mind for anyone not use to pups. The bedroom sleeps a bit warm; the window unit may need a cleaning/maintenance. Minor detail. It was an accommodating visit. Candice is helpful. Pay attention to her instructions on the location. I was initially confused on where to go. Perfect for a quick couple of sleeps and providing a desk for remote work. Location was good for me. I was using the public boat ramp, and this place it right beside it. Access was easy. Everything in the house worked. AC was cold and water was hot. Everything you need to cook and entertain. Would stay again!

Always enjoy staying at the speakeasy. Quiet little oasis out back, nice surprise when we got there( some freshly baked cookies );very clean. Barbara responded right away when we were needing new batteries for the remote and had suggestions for places to eat and things to do.

The house was extremely comfortable and close to many things to do. It was great to have a full kitchen and washer and dryer!! The beach is small, but beautiful and peaceful!! It was great to have a fenced yard for our fur babies, and they totally enjoyed the stay as well!!! Many thanks, and would love to stay again!!!

Our family came in and spent a couple nights before our cruise and we had a wonderful stay. It’s a beautiful place and we really enjoyed the very short walk to the beach! I highly recommend for anybody looking for a place to stay in Galveston.

This was a nice get away place, very quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Right across the street from the beach! Priya was very friendly and communicated very well. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

Hip-Nautical was a great place to stay this winter. Love the porch and deck. The dog had a great time walking on the beach and playing in the water. Pack a can opener.

This was the 3rd time staying here and we will definitely be back. Ron and Carol are the best Air BNB hosts that we have ever had and the home is set up perfectly for everything that you would need.

This is our second time renting Choral Haven. It’s such a nice, cozy home, walking distance to the beach. The home looks just like the picture and everything you need is provided, plus more. We will definitely be back again.

I recommend staying here. The house is clean, the host is responsive, and the setting is beautiful. For families, it’s probably better for older kids. The house matches the listing.

The home is very comfortable. We didn’t get to spend much time in it because we were traveling for a baseball tournament, but I would definately stay there again. Linda made sure we had a working laundry set, which was essential to us. Very quiet, laid back. Nice to find basic needs like detergent, coffee, edulcorant, spices, oil, etc… My son’s team won the tournament! Thank you Linda!
