We spent an unforgettable Thanksgiving weekend at Robert’s house. This house is more than just an accommodation, its a whole experience of slow countryside living at its best. The house is beautiful, filled with light and books. It is well lived in and has everything that you might need. We were happy to find the fully operational kitchen as we needed to cook the Thanksgiving dinner. Even though we brought a lot of cooking supplies with us, we could totally skip it - the kitchen has everything that you might need. The heating works well, we only needed to turn it on for couple hours in the evening. Robert was proactive and left us very detailed instructions. So if you hesitate whether you should book this place or not, let this review be a sign for you. Come stay at the Bell house and let your dream of a cottage in the woods cme true. We only stayed for one night to break our journey up as we were heading to Niagara Falls , absolutely gorgeous location a step away from the lake with breathtaking scenery , perfect to sit out on the patio enjoying the scenery and having a drink and chill , beds were very comfortable we both slept well , welcome basket was a nice touch , we used the kitchen and made our own dinner and table was gorgeous to sit at , would recommend to anyone who enjoys relaxing and great views

It fit my purposes perfectly as I was just spending the night before fishing on Charleston Lake the next day, 2 minutes from the boat launch. It’s in a really beautiful spot and is very cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the heater made quick work of the morning chill. The fire pit area is excellent. The unit itself is a strange mix of modern and not. There is no running or hot water, you have to pump water with a handle from large bottles under the sink. The toilet definitely takes some getting used to. Would stay again if I’m in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Sheri’s. The place was clean and exactly as described. The host was responsive and made check in super easy. Would definitely recommend!!
