You won’t forget this memorable experience! A 1974 River Boat has been lovingly transformed in to a whimsical all season cabin. Come for the fantasy then bask in the comfort and romance of it. Luxurious amenities include everything but the kitchen sink..literally! A perk to no running water is that I do your dishes at my place while you relax! Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, library, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, no shower or wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Tastefully decorated in barn board and v-joint pine inside, it features 7 cu. ft. fridge, large air circulator, kitchen cart, microwave, bbq, coffee maker, etc. It has a wardrobe, loveseat, end table and dining table for two. The queen bed is up the ladder in the loft. Great view onto Lake Mazinaw. New 36' dock, deck, stand up paddleboards (SUPs), kayaks, canoe, Aqua Cycle and pedal boats. Minimum 3 night booking on long weekends.

The Sugar Shack

Very comfortable & very private cabin, set in the Pine trees. You feel as though you are camping but with all the comforts of a cozy cabin. The lighting system is 12 V. Also has a 12 V. socket for charging phones. Excellent spot to hone your bushcraft skills!! Also an excellent winter get away, cabin is very warm and cozy with the Jotul woodstove for warmth. (must have woodstove experience). We are sorry but we do not allow dogs or cats due to hair allergies.

You can ski, snowshoe or hike on the 40 acre property. Also, within minutes of the cabin are numerous trail systems, lakes and beaches.
