The "Kingfisher" is the perfect place from which to discover the beauty of the Loire Valley. The Loire flows directly by the foot of this two hundred year old house, which is located in the picturesque village of Chênehutte. After a peaceful night’s rest you can go for a bike ride in the countryside, along the Loire, in the forest or simply rest under a parasol while listening to the river and observing its beautiful flora and fauna. Perhaps, if you are lucky, you might even see a kingfisher!

Dining at the Caves de Marson, a delicious troglodyte restaurant with fouées (1-min walk). Visit the Cadre Noir 5 minutes away. 10 minutes from the Loire, Saumur and its many tourist attractions.

Ideally located in a quiet historic district of Saumur, a ten-minute walk to the city center, your accommodation is furnished with great care, in an outbuilding of our house, in the heart of a charming garden enclosed by walls. The cottage is arranged as a studio, with a large living room, kitchen area and separate bathroom. The toilet is in the bathroom. Everything is on one level and overlooks the garden. Free public parking in front of the property.

The pavilion, independent of my house, overlooks the Loire. It's great for a couple's getaway. It is ideal as a base for exploring the roads and paths of the Loire, to visit the countless known castles or lesser-known residences that line it. You will never forget the sunrises over the Loire in the early morning in one of the most beautiful villages of the wild Loire (halfway between Angers and Saumur). Our charming countryside rental is surrounded by greenery, a few sheep and goats occasionally. This cozy accommodation is located at the back of our house, to be as close as possible to your expectations. Provided: towels, dish towels, dishwashing liquid, cleaning products and laundry detergent. We also provide bed linen except for the crib. Lots of places to visit nearby. Please note the ceiling height 1.85 cm.
