A car is recommended, though it is possible to get around on foot or by public transport, as the Menaggio–Plesio–Breglia service is limited.

The newly renovated "Casa Mina" sits in the lovely town of Loveno, a 20-minute walk (or short drive) above Menaggio. The building itself was at one time a Monastery, but that was at least 200 years ago! We renovated the apartment in 2025, specifically to prepare it for Airbnb. Now it is a light-filled, brand new & super stylish 3-person apartment, with all the modern amenities, but it's still got that old Italian cultural feel.
