Monthly Rentals in Lower Five Islands

We had a wonderful first stay at Primrose House! We are staying long term while our home is restored. From our first contact, Lesley was fantastic to deal with. The welcome binder full of well categorized information was awesome and would be even better for those coming from further away. Lesley checked in with us periodically to make sure we were comfortable as temperatures changed, as well as to give us a heads up regarding fun local events. Outdoor lights and a Christmas tree indoors really helped us get into the Christmas spirit despite not being at home for it as we had planned. We’re looking forward to our second stay as we continue waiting for our house to be finished. Thanks to Lesley and David for making our time away from home so pleasant and relaxing!

Place felt like home the minute I walked in. Spacious, bright kitchen with good cookware, storage containers, dishware, spices, basic cooking needs. Clean bathrooms. All bedrooms are upstairs. Mattress was fine in room I used. Back yard was partially fenced (vegetation was barrier for one side). Kept my 2 small dogs safe. Having a fenced yard was critical for my stay. One neighbor was very friendly, otherwise private quiet neighborhood. Only negative: I didn't care for the water for drinking so I bought some. Okay for tea, shower, brushing teeth. Would stay here again.

My Husband and I had a very relaxing mini-moon at Barclay and Jennifer’s trailer after a hectic week of wedding events. Barclay and Jennifer were on site and responded to any issues or questions we had. They came over when we arrived to make sure we got into the trailer and explained how things worked. The trailer was very comfortable with heat (which was needed during the crisp fall nights) The view was spectacular, watching the sun rise from the deck with a cup of coffee. Barclay had lots of wood for us to have a campfire and even took wood down to the beach fire pit for us. The whole trip was very relaxing and the perfect “glamping” experience. We will be back for sure!

What a wonderful place to disconnect from everything! I wish we could have stayed longer as there was lots to do in the area - don’t miss Hidden Falls! Just sorry I was sick for most of our stay. Wendy and Harold were amazing hosts!
