We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Erika and the Kehril family’s charming Swiss-style home and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and instantly felt at home. The house was spotless, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches that made a real difference—like the bedroom slippers, hot-water bag, and even 3-ply toilet paper! Every detail was carefully considered, and it showed. The fully equipped kitchen was a highlight for us. After weeks on the road, being able to prepare a home-cooked meal using the provided utensils and oven was a real treat. And the view—simply stunning. Waking up to the majestic mountains and enjoying our coffee with that breathtaking backdrop was unforgettable. Thank you, Erika and family, for your exceptional hospitality. The place was so pretty and peaceful. I was able to enjoy a relaxing morning and evening while looking at the Eiger Mountain that you can see right away. Grindelwald Terminal is just a short walk down. We stayed for two nights. Day 1 is check-in day 2, Jungfrayou Day 3 is First! We recommend 3 nights for visitors. The place is just as beautiful as the pictures. It was just that the stairs and hallway that went down to the front door of the house were so dark that after 7 o'clock, there was a disadvantage of having to turn on the freshener and open the front door, and that towels were provided for more than 3 consecutive days, but despite these disadvantages, it was such a beautiful house that we visited again in a few years. The host's kind explanation and response also made me feel so comfortable and stable in my life.
