Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Madison

Lisa was a great host. She gave clear check in instructions that were easy to do when we arrived. She gave helpful advice about different restaurants and buffets based on places we were interested in seeing. Check out was very accommodating as well. My children and I enjoyed our stay.

The house was amazing on a beautiful property! We spent tons of time on the back deck and playing catch in the mowed yard. Inside was clean and homie feeling and so much character! We really appreciated Betty and her responsiveness to getting us in and throughout the stay! Better yet if you come the right time of year like we did you might just get some vegetables! It was a perfect stay!

This was a great place to stay. Justin was very helpful and accommodating.

Jennifer’s place was a perfect stay for our family of seven. We had a kid with us and one of the rooms upstairs is connected to another room that has a futon. There isn’t a door that separates the two rooms but we were fine with that. It was sunny and nice to be able to sit on the back patio. We rented a golf cart and took that around town (designated areas). The town is very walkable and in the summer months, with everything open, I can imagine it being lively. We took a walk along the Ohio River (which we walked to) and that was nice. Kitchen also had what we needed to make meals. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here 4 or 5 times it's our go to home away from home!

don't hesitate to book. weather ruined most activities. obviously not fault of owner. would be wonderful place with warm weather and no rain. they have everything you need and then some.

Kevin was very responsive to messages. Also I arrived late to check in but he trued to go out of his way to explain to me how to get in the property. He followed up while driving to the property. This was an amazing experience. Definitely will be going back in the summer.

Rickie was very responsive. This place was amazing for our short family getaway. It fit our family of five perfectly. Short trip to the arc and other attractions in the area. We will definitely book again when we are in the area.

We loved staying at Angela’s place. The location was so convenient to walk to everything-we only used our car to go to Clifty Falls. Angela was a wonderful host and the fresh baked cookies and other treats were thoroughly enjoyed. We loved everything about the home-the comfortable bed, the high shower head, the fireplace…everything. If we ever have the opportunity to return to Madison, we will definitely stay here again!

Amazing place that was secluded yet close to the main town. The cabin was absolutely amazing- filled with great mounts and antiques.

This home is absolutely gorgeous! Driving up the main drive makes you feel like you're in the mountains! The surroundings are a dream. As soon as you step outside you can hear the birds, the stream flowing, and all that you want from nature. the home was well equipped and had everything you need for a great vacation. The kitchen was breathtaking. Every room had a beautiful view! The owner was very responsive and was quick to address all our questions. The home is beautiful and great for a group! We enjoyed having a bonfire at the fire pit and just spending time on the decks with each other. Walking the property was gorgeous. I wish we could have stayed longer!!

The cabin was just like the description. It was very clean and it felt just like home. It was so peaceful and quiet. I had a very nice stay with my family.

We loved staying here and it was the perfect location for our family Easter! I truly can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the owners! It was very clean and well appointed with anything you need and the owners were very accommodating and kind! They helped with a couple requests, including a pack and play and high chair. We were able to cook a large Easter dinner with the stocked kitchen appliances and cookware. The property is very serene with plenty of privacy and great options for hiking around. The location is also not too far to get to the grocery store and restaurants. Lastly, the pool table and hot tub were a hit! We highly recommend to stay here and know we will definitely be back for another stay!

We really, really enjoyed this property even though it rained & stormed every day. The view is so gorgeous! We actually enjoyed watching the storms out the large windows that overlook the property, the large pond and rolling hills. Watching the deer meandering around as they fed and the turkeys chasing each other was better than watching TV. This property is so peaceful. On nice days, there is lots to do as he says in the description…pontoon & paddle boat on the pond, a fire pit area, the hot tub, corn hole, comfortable deck, and just walking the property. The home was spotless and very comfortably appointed. We could not think of one thing we would have wanted that wasn’t already provided. So many towels, blankets, kitchen utensils, etc. Beautiful and tasteful decor. Comfortable beds. We traveled with another couple & there was plenty of room. Jim was very responsive from beginning to end. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. I’m sure anyone would love their stay.

John's home is very lovely. We saw deer and birds at the pond. It was very peaceful and quiet. Great place to come home to after a long day at work.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was just what our family of 5 needed. We love staying in unique places a little off the beaten path, and this was just the place for us. It was close enough to the things we wanted to do, but far enough away to be peaceful.

Over the weekend my (now) husband and I decided to get married on this property and it was nothing short of perfect for us. The cabin is beautiful and they spared no expense to make it comfortable & luxurious. You can really tell how much love & thought went into the cabin. I'm usually begging for my own bed after being away from home and not once did I miss my usual comforts. The grounds are GORGEOUS & represent the most beautiful parts of Kentucky countryside. There is a cow & about 50 chickens on site & all of our guests went to say hi at some point. The property is so quiet (besides the birds and the occasional crowing of a rooster) and it was easy to take a deep breath and sigh in relief. Susan & Berard are the SWEETEST & so accommodating. They provided us with 30 chairs, tablecloths, napkins, a delicious veggie tray & fruit bowl, and 18 farm fresh eggs (in this economy?!). They made sure we had everything we needed & our wedding weekend was perfect thanks to their generosity.
