Stone House - Joy River Backpackers

The Stone House is self-catering and contains, in the main bedroom, one double and one 3/4 bed with an en-suite bathroom, flush toilet, bath and shower. The lounge, with a fireplace, contains a single bed and couch. Bedding is provided and mosquito nets. Joy River Backpackers is situated at the very beginning of the Blyde River Canyon. A genuine African village experience, rustic & laid-back atmosphere prevails and the buildings blend serenely into that of the village. The water is potable.

Although the house is complete private you have the added benefit of being within the grounds of Rukiya Safari camp where you can go for meals, enjoy a dip in the pool and join safari activities. The house has beautiful river views and when staying you have access to Wild Rivers Nature Reserve.
