Tudor's place is beautiful and special. The view is spectacular and breathtaking. The location is awesome. Check-in and check-out were completely smooth and Tudor was helpful throughout. I highly recommend staying in Tudor's place.

Matera is an amazing place with interesting history. Paola’s home is in the historic part of the city and would be difficult to find if it wasn’t for Paola’s clear instructions. The home is beautiful, well equipped, and close to churches, places of interest and restaurants, yet private and quiet. There was some music from a nearby venue on Saturday night however it was a long weekend, the music finished by midnight and it didn’t disturb our sleep. Paola was very helpful and responsive, and provided us with local recommendations. We would highly recommend Paola’s home.

Prospero and Carmen were the best and nicest hosts I’ve met. They greeted me in the street, helped with my luggage and then gave me great tips and recommendations for the area. Their place was quiet and peaceful after I’d been walking all day. Google maps isn’t great for their location-it takes you up a lot of stairs when the road is much easier to use. Ask them anything and they are so friendly and helpful you feel like family. I’ll be back to see them.
