This home is a nice mountain getaway. The home was well taken care of and had a lovely view!

Good: Thoughtful and considerate about small details people might need when they are traveling, ex- first-aid kit, female hygiene etc. Neat and clean place. Extra spares like blankets and other stuff. The place is peaceful, close to nature. Things to consider: The other bedroom doesn’t have an isolation between bath and bedroom. It would have been good to have blackout curtains near the entrance door. And actual door or some form of partition there.

He was a great host, responded quickly, and made sure we had a great stay.

we had a wonderful few days in Old Fort. The house was private with a lovely view but within easy driving distance to Old Fort, Black Mountain, and Marion. Highly recommend!

Nice house. A little dated, but that was kind of nostalgic. Mountain views are breathtaking!!

My family and I recently stayed at Corinne’s place for Christmas as my mom lives nearby. It was a perfect Airbnb for us - absolutely beautiful house and views, plenty of space, kitchen and laundry were ideal. We did not use the sauna or the downstairs but they looked great too. Internet was fast and beds were comfy too. We hope to stay again when visiting family!

Genuine log cabin. Clean, comfortable, private, quiet. Booked because I could bring my dog. Large yard, with yard games available.

Very nostalgic and classic feel to the home, amenities were as described. Host was responsive and friendly, where we felt right at home.

5 Stars — A Perfect Stay! Allison and Cory were incredible hosts! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was a breeze, the space was spotless, and every little detail felt thoughtfully curated. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. The home was cozy, stylish, and had all the comforts you’d hope for (plus a few extra touches that made it feel special). Communication was quick and friendly, and they made sure I felt welcome the entire time. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend!

Blin's place was spotless, comfortable and the view was stunning - Fall leaves were in full color while we were there. The bathrooms were spacious and clean - the water was hot with good pressure. The king bed in the master was supportive and comfortable. I heard no complaints about the bunk room beds the kids used. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, bowls and cooking utensils. All appliances worked well. It was muddy while we were there so we rolled up the light colored rugs so we didn't accidentally stain them. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of area for him to run and the streets were quiet for a walk along the road. There are steps all the way to the water which will be amazing for lake access in the summer. As it was cold while we were there and the lake was still recovering from Hurrican Helene, we did not get in the water. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Karen was helpful in sending recommendations and communication regarding the impact of Helene on the area. Always answered questions and put us at ease. The suite was beautiful and the amenities were nice and the views were great. Instructions were helpful. I would highly recommend this suite

Cute condo near downtown Marion. Easily walkable to coffee shops and restaurants. The space was clean and much larger than the photos. Our family of 5 fit well.

Such a great space for one or two people looking for an affordable space near Black Mountain. The accommodations were pristine and the hot tub was a great amenity. Easy to find, just two miles from downtown Black Mountain.

M & J are the epitome of what I feel AirBnB is about. Having an opportunity to be in a “home away from home” vs. the impersonal feeling of a hotel. I loved that I had a space in the garage to pull right in & I felt very safe. I had everything I needed for my month long stay. It was clean, orderly, peaceful, & I had plenty of space for me & my dogs. The outdoor space was very nice as well. Margaret is super friendly & accommodating. We actually got to go on some walks & a few meals with card games & it was so nice getting to know her. However she respects your space too & everything is super quiet. It was easy to work remotely indoors from day to day but also get out & explore the area. There was plenty of cooking items, fresh towels & bedding. I had plenty of room to store my stuff and keep it all organized with the armoire, closet, roomy bathroom & plenty of hooks. Margaret was so accommodating for my dogs as well and I never felt stressed about having them with me. Can’t say enough.

The peaceful surroundings made it a perfect getaway, and the attention to detail made it feel like home. The location was a little different than I expected, but it was still a great spot to relax and enjoy nature. The hosts were very responsive and thoughtful, ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay. Every moment was enjoyable. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

This was our second time spending our family Christmas Vacation at Miller High Life. Once again we were thrilled with the entire experience. The view is spectacular. The cabin is clean, well maintained and fits our needs perfectly. You are tucked away in complete privacy but close to Old Fort, Black Mountain and a short drive to Asheville. This is our second time and we fell in love with the place all over again. Becky’s mountain home is perfect in all seasons. We loved relaxing on the deck, watching shows and movies in the living room, and cooking in the amazingly equipped kitchen. We are already planning our next trip! Becky is a wonderful host and was super responsive when we had a hiccup checking in. Can’t say enough about this place!

Could not possibly say enough positive things about Tonya's place!! The location is so peaceful. We loved having the wrap around porch for our kids to run and play on and know they were safe. We spent hours in the hot tub enjoying the view. Such a wonderful place to stay, we will definitely be back!!!!

Our time at Lisa’s place was incredibly relaxing and a perfect weekend getaway. The views were amazing, the interior was tastefully decorated, and the home was much larger than the pictures show! Our favorite part was the special bottle of wine the host left for us and the great vinyl collection. Highly recommend!
