Unique place has a style all its own. It is private, one year old now and hand worked by owner. NO PETS. Small 350+ sq feet. Open floorplan, no separate bedroom. Large front porch with wooden rockers. Kitchen is very small, with most everything except for oven. Has two small ponds with fish in them loaner poles and tackle in closet no license required. It's in the woods there is wildlife, stream and old growth trees to view. Park style charcoal grill in the yard. Hammock, picnic area at ponds.

For your sleeping comfort I have a new queen bed with memory foam mattress. Also, a Mitsubishi heat/AC unit to maintain a comfortable temperature. For an addition fee I offer a workout area complete with dry sauna that heats up to 180. I am a licensed massage therapist, when available I can offer massage by appointment in separate studio.

Cook your gourmet meals in the fully equipped kitchen—(we provide welcome mini loaf, organic coffee, half and half, sugar, rolled oats, olive oil, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.) The Laurel Branch Cottage is charming and ideally located near the Town of Floyd and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cottage is surrounded by scenic family farms and near the West Fork of the Little River. Also, we are approximately 35 miles (45 min.) from Virginia Tech. The cottage includes a kitchen, bathroom, a living room with a pull-out sofa bed, bedroom with spacious closet and queen bed, and an upstairs bedroom (outside stair access only) with another full bed.

The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023). For larger groups, check out the guest house next door (Airbnb: Guest House on Homestead near Floyd/Blacksburg). ~10 miles to Floyd, ~20 miles to Blacksburg, ~35 miles to Roanoke.
