Vine Cottage

Vine Cottage is a quaint gite in a secluded part of rural France. It sleeps four people; a large bedroom upstairs with a king-size bed and a smaller double room downstairs with two single beds. There is a shower room on the ground floor. The historic town of Melle is just 4km away with a choice of supermarkets/restaurants etc. The gite itself is very private with a beautiful swimming pool, garden and eating area. Ample parking, and central heated, the gite is available all year round.

Mulberry Gîte is a cozy, spacious retreat in a peaceful semi-rural setting—ideal for relaxing after a day exploring. Enjoy nearby Chef-Boutonne and beyond, with everything you need for a memorable stay. During the cooler months (January–May and October–December), firewood is provided for the log burner; additional wood can be purchased if needed. Electric wall heaters: We include an allowance of 15 kWh per day usage . Usage above this will be charged at €0.1481 per kWh.

It consists of 3 bedrooms (2 with double bed and 1 with bunk bed) possibility to transform the sofa into a bed! This beautiful accommodation is fully equipped. It also consists of an outdoor pool, a petanque court and a foosball table.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay in the heart of our farm. Calm and nature are kings here! The house is located 30 minutes from the Vallée des Singes, a little less than an hour from the Futuroscope, 45 minutes from Niort and an hour and a half from La Rochelle. It is located in a small hamlet but is within easy reach of the lovely market towns of Melle, Sauze Vaussais and Chef Boutonne with all the amenities: Supermarkets, boulangeries, pharmacies, bars and restaurants and weekly markets.
